MATHLETICS & WMD
The beggining
While it was March the 1st somewhere
in the world, more than 5 million
students of 22,785 schools from 234
countries, participated in an
international competition during the
World Maths Day.
We are very proud that our 6th grade
student Ernesto, was selected
Ambassador to represent our school, our
state and our country during the
competition. He helped out to promote
WMD in the school and among his
friends and family.

Ernesto, that participated
and also obtained a
Platinum Award for having
completed the challenge.
You can help unite the world
in numbers again in the next
WMD 2012 competition!
WMD - The Results
Results of WMD came in during the last
week of March. We are proud to present a
special award to Alexis for being the
student who earned 1st place with the
highest score in JFK School, and also for
having earned 3rd Place out of more than
10,000 participants nation wide!!!
Congratulations Alexis!!!
TALLER DE ACTUACIÓN
El Sr. David Luca, quien es un artista
francés reconocido que trabaja como
payaso, fue invitado por Ms. Erika
para trabajar con nuestros alumnos
para darles herramientas que les
permitan trabajar la expresión
corporal. Fue muy agradable
compartir sonrisas durante este taller
de dos semanas de duración.

ALUMNOS DE 6º GRADO PRESENTAN OBRAS DE TEATRO
Como parte de su currículum académico, los alumnos de 6º grado
presentaron en el colegio dos divertidas obras de teatro , realizando ellos
mismos el trabajo de adaptación para guión de teatro, producción,
montaje, dirección , iluminación y actuación .

During the
first
months of
2011, kids
at kinder
had a busy
schedule!
Young artists
at work.
Miss Tessie visited Pre-School to read stories to
the children.

their classmates, using paper figurines.

Exchange Students

Near Salt Lake City there are extremely
beautiful places. Our exchange students spent
hours of fun in the snow.
