Transportation (see also maps and information in the end)
At the arrival to the Oulu Airport, the cheapest way to travel downtown, i.e. to the city centre, is to take bus no.
19, which leaves in front of the airport. Here's the schedule for normal workdays (departure): every 30 min,
e.g. 17:20, 17:50 , and it takes around 40 minutes. The bus ticket/person is around 4,50 EUR. For timetables
see also the bus connections at the end of this document.
Transportation during your stay is best by foot, taxi or buses, see more information at the end of this
document. For departure, the best trasnportqation is by taxi or bus. Remember to be at the airport approx. one
hour before the scheduled take off in order to make sure that the check-in will go smoothly.

Sports (Suggestion)
There’s a swimming hall at Raksila (close to the railway station and central bus station) with sauna and other
bathing possibilities, as well as a gym. Other sports are possible, if arrangements are made and equipment
aavailable, like cross-country skiing etc.
Shopping (Suggestion)
Various stores in the environment of the pedestrian road in the city centre, Rotuaari. There’s also the possibility to
visit the Market Hall and Market Square. See www.rotuaari.info. Kiosks (sop-called "R-kioski") have opened usually
a bit longer. Here is the most central R-kioski downtown Oulu at Isokatu 27. Open every day until 21.00.

Churches (serving in English)
Various local Christian Ministries offer Sunday worship services and Bible studies etc. in English or in other

the driver for 3,50 €. You can also purchase a bus card with 20 journeys for 40,00 € at Stockmann, 3rd floor, Kirkkokatu 14. The bus

Walk to the bus stop “Hellaakoski E” on Saaristonkatu/nearby
