economy direct to print services
Just upload and order. Our economy print service takes your self-prepared images and sends them
directly through our printers. Because we do not review, color correct or otherwise prepare these files
on our end before printing, this service allows us to provide high end prints for a very low cost. A great
option for those familiar with color-correcting and preparing their own files for printing on different
materials, sizes and finishes. This service can also be used for inexpensive reprints of previously
prepared files.

custom pro prints
Add Pro Services to your order to insure the perfect print every time. Our team will review your file and
discuss your requirements personally via phone or email. We will advise, up-size, color-correct, prepare,
clean, proof, and print your file for any material and finish you choose. Also a great way to learn about
the printing process since each paper, size, material and finish will produce a slightly different result,
if you are less familiar with preparing, sizing and printing your own files, our custom prints are the
perfect choice.
Once we have sized, prepped and printed your file, you may use the corrected file to re-order inexpensive copies
of your image at any time through our Economy Direct-to-Print Services.

Neo-Ambros and Neo-Daguerreos have a pro service charge built into the cost of the print. Once you
have printed a neo-ambro or neo-daguerreo you will receive the corrected file which you can use at a
later date for 25% off the cost of reprints at any time.
re-printing
Once you are happy with your proof, we will ship you the final print along with the digital file: corrected,
sized and prepped for the surface you chose. Use this corrected file to order inexpensive re-prints of
your image at any time via our economy direct-to-print service.

Bamboo panels offer an easy, elegant and eco-concious way to exhibit artwork. Each order is handcrafted in Portland, Oregon by real humans, created with sustainably harvested bamboo. The panels
come in 28 standard sizes with 4 different profiles, and have a keyhole slot on the back for easy
hanging. The bamboo is carbonized vertical grain bamboo plywood. Bamboo is a grass and its fast
growth makes it a very eco-concious material; all bamboo used to make these panels is sustainably
grown and harvested. The adhesive film used to mount our prints to the bamboo panels is PH neutral
which protects the images from the natural acids in the wood. We offer both c-type and giclée prints of
the highest caliber for mounting on our panels.

without the “sheen” that can be a hindrance in glossy print finishes.

Described by many photographers as a “chrome on paper” effect. Kodak metallic prints offer a rich,
distinctive metallic (pearlescent/iridescent) look that catches the eye. It works especially well on images
with strong contrast and/or black and white images.
giclée standard matte
Epson Photo Matte (192g)
Smooth Matte surface with very good contrast range and excellent color reproduction. Durable finish
with longevity rating of 25+ years. Ideal for illustration, painting, water color, art reproductions and some
types of photography.
giclée exhibition - fine art pearl
Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl (285g)
Semi-gloss finish, heavy weight, and acid free. Excellent contrast and color range. Durable, smooth
finish, and cotton based paper with archival rating of 75+ years. Excellent for all type of photography
and art reproductions. This paper comes with our recommendation for those wanting the highest quality
fine art print possible.
wood types (prints on wood)
Images printed directly onto birch and maple wood panels are currently available on a custom request
basis. Wood types provide a unique approach to printing, allowing the grain of the wood to show through
in the lighter parts of your image. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to try one of
our new wood types. More information and online ordering will be available at a later date.

Bamboo & maple blocks and wood types are shipped at cost based on size and weight. Domestic US
orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. For international orders, we will provide a shipping estimate at the

Tin Types are printed directly onto aluminum plates: an exciting new way to to showcase your work.
This dynamic print alternative uses a dye-sublimation process to embed your image directly into a
coated aluminum surface. These prints come in 4 finishes. They are incredibly vibrant and rich, light
weight, beautiful, easy to maintain, ultra-hard, scratch resistant, waterproof, weatherproof and can be
cleaned with any commercial glass cleaner, though we recommend avoiding direct, bright sunlight as
with any fine art print. Metal prints are also archival with 2-4 times the longevity of traditional silver
based photo papers.

The glossy finish prints on aluminum that is coated with a white surface. This creates an image that will
closely match your original file, then finishes the image with very high-gloss surface.
satin
The satin finish also prints on white, but has a matte finish.
sheer-gloss
This surface allows the color of the metal to show through instead of “white”. It creates a very
interesting, almost 3D effect to your image, but may look quite different from the original file. It is
recommended for a more experimental look. This version adds a high-gloss finish to the final image.

Wood shipping crates are required on orders over 45 inches to prevent damage in transit. Up to 3 prints
will fit in each crate. Wood crates 45 inches and smaller are $45 each. Crates over 45 inches are $65.

neo-daguerreos
Our Neo-Daguerreos are inspired by the classic look of vintage daguerreotypes. Neo-Daguerreos are
embedded on aluminum plates - or on specially coated mirrors, typically used in telescopes. The
reflective surface of the high-tech mirror creates an iridescent print with the look of genuine 1800s
Daguerreotype prints while the sheer metal prints reflect the feel of vintage TinTypes. Our presentation
is traditional as well—based on the design of vintage “union cases” complete with brass clasps and a
velvet lining. Best of all, each case is handmade by one of our partners right here in the USA.
We currently offer Neo-Daguerreos in a traditional Half-Plate case. This means the image will be printed
at 4.25x5.5 inches onto metal or mirror and then inset into the right side of the case. The left side of the
case is fully lined with a red velvet cushion, and a thin rib of velvet is also laid around the plate on the
right side to hold it in place. The exterior is hand-cast with black resin in an ornate design, and fitted
with brass clasps. The result is highly durable and incredibly tactile, evoking both the materials and the
aesthetic of traditional prints from the 1800s.

neo-ambros
For a different look, the Neo-Ambro is a sleek, contemporary take on traditional glass-plate
photographs. Here we have taken the idea of printing on glass (not plexiglass, acrylic, resin or flimsy
window glass) and transformed it into a modern day sculpture. Our glass blocks are 3/4 of an inch thick
with sleek, polished edges and a beveled corners. The glass blocks come in 7x7 inch squares, or 6x8
inch rectangles, and are set into hand-crafted walnut wood stands. Each stand consists of two pieces,
approx. 3 inches long with beveled edges. The glass block sits in the middle of the wood, cushioned by
felt to hold it snuggly in place. Circular plastic pads are attached to the bottom of the wood stands to
insure they sit safely and securely on your windowsill, shelf, or desk. The end result is a lush,
contemporary stained glass sculpture designed to fully illuminate your work.

Heavyweight, neutral white, with a beautiful and unique satin surface. The result is a soft velvety
quality. This is the perfect paper for high end exhibition prints if you want the look and feel of a thick
giclée paper without the issues of a fully matte print. It appears quite smooth and is excellent for color
and black and white photos and reproductions. This is our favorite paper for exhibition prints. Combines
the “kick” of glossier papers with the soft feel of a matte surface.

desired. More gloss tends to translate into a bit more “kick”. And the surface is a little more slick than
satin or matte, but you don’t have to worry about reflectivity caused by other glossy papers.

Heavyweight neutral white, with a matte surface and subtle texture, appearing quite smooth. This paper
is like the Photo Rag Satin, but completely matte. The best neutral white,100% matte paper on the market. Excellent for color and black and white photos and reproductions. The matte surface is very soft and

Take advantage of our wide range of traditional wood frames and mats for your artwork. From simple
black wood to ornate museum frames, we are sure to have something suiteble for your print. Images
can be framed with or without plexi, and with or without a mat. A large selection of standard sizes are
available, and almost any custom project can be produced as well. Quantity discounts may be available.
We offer three standard paper finishes for our framed prints, all of which are top of the line, and suitable
for any environment, whether it is your home, office, or a gallery show. However, if you are having an
exhibition and would like to take your printing to a whole new level, we have an additional selection of
exhibition papers listed in our unmounted prints section. If you’d like to combine our exhibition papers
with our standard frames, please contact us for a custom quote, we’d be happy to work with you on
your project.

c-type luster
Fuji Crystal Archive Paper / Kodak Endura Paper
Not quite matte and not quite glossy. Luster (also referred to as Satin) has excellent color saturation
without the “sheen” that can be a hindrance in glossy print finishes.
c-type metallic
Kodak Endura Metallic Paper / Fuji Pearl (metallic)
Described by many photographers as a “chrome on paper” effect. Kodak metallic prints offer a rich,
distinctive metallic (pearlescent/iridescent) look that catches the eye. It works especially well on images with strong contrast and/or black and white images.
giclée velvet matte
Breathing Color Elegance Velvet (310g)
Bright white and heavyweight with a matte surface. Very good contrast range and color reproduction.
Suitable for fine art and photographic reproductions of all kinds. An excellent option for framed prints,
this paper is acid-free and cotton based with an archival rating of 75+ years.
