The Importance of Donating Healthy Foods
Food & Nutrition Services currently has 4 job openings:
Our annual Salvation Army Canned Food Drive begins Fri.
Nov. 20th. Food banks typically have plenty of food to go
around, But, the food is not always the healthiest. People
who get food from food banks deserve to have access to
the healthy, nutrient-filled foods they need.
Here are a few examples: brown rice, whole wheat or multigrain pasta, old-fashioned oats, canned tuna, and unsweetened applesauce.

As we approach the holiday season and the time of giving,
I challenge you to donate foods that you would feel good
about serving to your family

4th Grade Parents: just a heads up that we’ll soon be
asking for 3-5 pictures from each 4th grade student to be
included in our end of the year Celebration slideshow.
These pictures should be of your child during his or her K4th grade years. Please look for a note home about the
pictures in late Jan. (after our committee has had the
chance to meet and plan). Pictures will need to be sent
via email rather than to school in paper form. Thank you!
