Authentic ranch cowboys will compete in events that have aspects of traditional ranch work. Ranch Vet, Double

Best of Mexico Celebración
Experience centuries of Mexican tradition and artistry, from rodeo events to musical entertainment to dancing
exhibitions. You’ll see cowboys show off their expertise at bronc riding, bull riding and reining, and watch
professional trick ropers and riders dazzle the audience with their skills.
Bulls’ Night Out
Each night 40 of the toughest PRCA Bull Riders will take their shot at an 8 second ride on some of the rankest bulls
around to earn nightly championships.
AUCTION
One of the many missions of the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is to promote continuing
improvement in the breeding, raising and marketing of livestock and to encourage the pursuit of excellence
generally throughout the livestock and agriculture industries. The connection with the livestock industry has
been strong since the beginning when a group of cattlemen gathered on the banks of Marine Creek for the first
Fort Worth Stock Show over a century ago.

Everything from acrobats and Ronald McDonald to featured artists on the Chevy Main Stage. With that many
daily performances, you are sure to have a great time at the Fair.
Stock Show
The State Fair of Texas is a celebration of Texas culture. And there is no place better to learn about agriculture
and Texas heritage than a walk through the Livestock barns. Each year more than 5,200 students participate in
the youth events and leadership contests. But you don’t have to show an animal in a livestock contest to enjoy
this piece of the State Fair. Check the daily schedule for contest times and come and support these students as
they learn and earn money for college.
Pan-Am Arena
The Pan-Am Arena is home to three of the Fair’s most popular attractions. Jump! The Ultimate Dog Show is a
demonstration of skills and agility of man’s best friend. Pig Races allow fairgoers to cheer on a favorite piglet in
exciting races. Ostrich Races feature lanky contenders running neck and neck against each other.
Chevy Main Stage
One of the cornerstones at the State Fair of Texas is live entertainment. Fairgoers enjoy a variety of concerts on the
Chevy Main Stage, which showcases regional music groups of all genres and featured acts on the weekends. All
performances on the Chevy Main Stage are included in State Fair admission.
FOOD
It’s impossible to come to the State Fair of Texas and not enjoy amazing food. It is the Fried Food Capital of
Texas after all. In addition to turkey legs, corny dogs and other fried inventions, the State Fair has daily cooking
demonstrations in the Celebrity Kitchen and culinary competitions. Be sure to mark the Creative Arts building
