Carrier 23XRV—NEW “Q” Compressor Release
The Evergreen® 23XRV water cooled screw chiller is now available with a smaller capacity tri-rotor
compressor optimized for full or part load performance from 250 to 400 tons. This results in an
expanded product offering now ranging from 250 to 550 tons.
High Efficiency: The 23XRV achieves
industry leading IPLV values per AHRI
550/590-2011. As low as 0.299kW/Ton
IPLV!!
OSHPD: The Evergreen® 23XRV chiller
meets seismic qualification requirements for
pre-approval documents from OSHPD.
Single Input Power: Single input power
provides the benefit of easier installation and
better serviceability.
HFC-134a Refrigerant: Carrier has long
being committed to the environment and
sustainability. The Evergreen® 23XRV chiller
provides a high efficiency, chlorine-free, long
term solution unaffected by refrigerant phase
out.
Marine Waterbox Availability: To assist with better
serviceability in the field, the Evergreen® 23XRV
offers the option of Marine Waterboxes for easier
access to the heat exchanger tubes.
New AZME Rep Product Lines and Training on Tap for 2013
The family of Sigler AZME Rep Products is growing for 2013 to include several top-tier lines:
Addison HVAC who specializes in packaged outdoor HVAC units (available in San Diego only);
PHP Systems and Design, who provide spec-designed pipe and duct supports; Patterson
Pumps; and Spirotherm air separators and coalescing air elimination products.
These lines will enhance the existing AZME lines which include: Team Air custom air handlers,
Reznor heating and ventilating equipment, Raypak hot water heating boilers, and many more.
In addition, 2013 will see the roll-out of enhanced product training including joint sales calls,
lunch-and-learns, and targeted product presentations and demos. Sigler/AZME’s engineering
specialists are always available and committed to deliver timely support and assist with your
project’s requirements to ensure a successful solution to any design challenge.

Carrier Launches Revolutionary Rooftop Selection Mobile App
The new Carrier Rooftops mobile app was developed to assist
customers with the selection of light commercial rooftop equipment.
The app is the first of its kind in the HVAC industry! The app enables
customers to perform on-the-spot selection of rooftop units for
replacement or new construction, and estimate the potential energy
savings that can be realized with Carrier Weather Series rooftop units.
Features:
 Selects units by efficiency, model number, ton size or cfm.
 Obtain cooling and heating performance data
 Obtain physical size, weight and base electrical data.
 For replacement, the app will allow you to enter a host of
older models (Carrier or other brands) and then advise if a
direct replacement can occur or if and adapter curb is
required.
 Available for iPad (iOS 4.0 or later), iPhone 4 and 4S and
Android phones.
The app is FREE and available for download at your smartphone and iPad App store.
Carrier Wins “Best in Show” Award Again!!
Carrier was recently honored by BACnet® International
with a “Best in Show” award at the 2012 NFM&T Vegas
trade show. Carrier received the award as part of BACnet
International’s “Leader of the Pack” program, which
recognizes the achievements of individuals and companies
who successfully utilize the BACnet protocol in building
automation.
Carrier received the “Best in Show” award for submission
of a BACnet success story where the i-Vu® Open control
system was used to solved many unique HVAC challenges
at the WPPI Energy LEED® Gold certified facility in Sun
Prairie, WI.
This is the second year in a row for a Carrier project to win
the “Best in Show” award!!
