WELCOME BACK MEMBERS!
The golf season can’t get here too soon after the winter that we just went through.
The golf course is thawing out. The two new greens should open soon as well, which will be very exciting. We hope you have
many fun days on the course this season.
The event schedule is all set and can be viewed on the club website as well as in this
booklet. All of these events are a good opportunity to meet more of your fellow members. Take some time to go over the
schedule and make a commitment to get involved!
Included in this booklet you will find all of the programs we offer at the club. If you have any questions or concerns please
contact us at the golf shop. We look forward to seeing you soon out here at Biltmore!
Warm Regards,
Golf Staff

COURSE GUIDELINES
PACE OF PLAY (CARTS OR WALKING)
A round of golf at Biltmore is to be played in 4 hours and 15 minutes. If you are holding up the
group directly behind, the Pro Shop may ask you to let the faster group play through or to have
your group skip a hole. Please extend this courtesy to your fellow Members when necessary. “Pace
of Play” will be consistently monitored by the Starter and the Golf Pro when it is determined that a
problem is developing. A warning will be issued to any group not “on pace.” If the group is not on
pace within a reasonable amount of time, the group may be asked to move to the next hole. During
times when the starter or Golf Pro are not on the course, Members are asked to contact the Pro
Shop as soon as practical when a “pace of play” problem is developing.
Penalties for slow play violations are as follows:
1. All Members of groups that complete play in more than 4 hours and 15 minutes will receive a “Slow Play Letter.”
2. Members receiving a third “Slow Play Letter” in a single season will not be allowed to tee
off
during prime hours for a period of 14 days. Prime hours are Wednesday and Friday from
11:30am-2:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-10:00am.
1. Members receiving a fourth “Slow Play Letter” in a single season will be penalized as in #2.
2. A fifth violation will result in a 14-day suspension of playing privileges.
POSTING SCORES
All golfers should be in the habit of posting all scores made at Biltmore and away from the Club.
Winter scores should also be posted. Your handicap should be an accurate reflection of your ability
as a golfer in order to keep all events fair. All members should post their scores correctly. The Pro
Shop will assist you if you have any questions.
GOLF CARTS
Golf Carts should never be parked next to a green or a tee. Please keep carts on paths whenever
possible. Never drive carts in newly seeded areas; areas with no grass; muddy areas or obviously
damaged areas.
REPAIRING OF BALL MARKS ON GREENS
Always repair your ball marks (and those of others) on every green. If everyone fixes one ball mark
on a green, the greens will be better for all players at all times.
BUNKERS
Always rake the bunker after hitting a shot from a bunker.
DIVOTS
Always replace divots in all fairways and rough when possible.
