“FOR A BETTER RV EXPERIENCE”
Dear Alliance Coach Family,
The summer has arrived and things here have slowed up a bit. I have changed the direction of the company
going forward. In the second half of 2014 we will be focusing our attention on the local market versus traveling
across the country doing the large rallies. I would like to go back on the road in 2015 while continuing to serve
the local market.
There is so much going on here every day I don’t know where to begin. Well here it goes, memorial weekend we
did a successful show in Crystal River, Florida out of the Wildwood Store and a successful show in Yogi Bear
RV resort in Madison, Florida out of the Lake Park store. Across the street in Wildwood construction of Publix
and a shopping center is almost complete. There are stores and restaurants opening every day. Rumors are
flying on what is still to come across from us.
We are excited to add the Coachman Class C line in Lake Park and The Forest River Forester to Wildwood.
Now Alliance Coach is an official Onan Dealer, handling sales and service for the line now.
As I have said in the past few months, upgrades to the property continue. The property has been landscaped
and the lobby and offices have a fresh coat of paint.
We are very excited to have Nick Westbrook join us to from Toyota of Valdosta to start up our paint
department in Lake Park under the guidance of Victor Gonzalez. Now that our training and presentation room
is complete we will start training around 20 more techs in receiving additional certifications. This project will
be handled under the guidance of Ed Cowan.
Many of our Facebook friends have asked us to put a coupon out, so I listened. Our first coupon featuring oil
changes and AC inspections and can be found on our website, Facebook and this newsletter.
Well enough for now, enjoy your summer and HAPPY TRAVELS.
Truly Yours,
Alan Shapiro
President

WONDERING ABOUT WARRANTIES?
Extended Warranties—Should you or shouldn’t you?
By Roxanne Dorsey, Warranty Administrator
With an extended warranty that provides the proper coverage, you are insured against all sorts
of unexpected problems that could eventually rack up thousands of dollars in repairs. In the
long term, getting an extended warranty can save you more money than if you were to pay
out of pocket for each repair you make.
In my experience as a warranty administrator here at Alliance Coach, it’s the peace of mind you get from knowing that you are
protected against a rainy day, and it should not be underestimated. It is human nature to believe that the long shot bad luck will
never happen, although it almost always does. And extended warranty covers you from that long shot, for an additional period
of time. No one likes those nasty surprises. There can be some hassle trying to figure out what every last word in the contract
means and just how deep your coverage will be. There are plenty of warranty companies who will deliberately word contracts to
leave loopholes the size of barnyards so that they can wriggle through. You should know exactly what you are covered for.
Most policies have exclusion and/or inclusion agreement terms. If you would like more details, then have them spell it out and
explain it to you. In the long run you will be saving thousands of dollars in covered repairs. An extended warranty is worth the
money it costs. Here at Alliance Coach we have the staff to answer questions you may have, and we will do everything we can
do to get your claim covered. If you have any questions concerning what might be covered, please don’t hesitate to ask me,
Roxanne Dorsey, or Toni Price.
For more information on purchasing an extended warranty policy please contact:
Mike Cinquemano at our Wildwood, Florida, location: (352) 330-3800
Rhonda Boatwright at our Lake Park, Georgia, location: (229) 559-1555
Tech Tip This month we became an authorized ONAN Dealer. Our techs here stepped up to yet another challenge and succeeded taking
many of the required courses on their own time. Congrats to all those in Wildwood. This brings me to another area of training
and certification: RVIA/RVDA Certified Technicians. I am the mentor here for that program. Alan and Judy Shapiro have
supported the training program here to such an extent that they have had the entire training room upstairs completely remodeled.
During the summer months we will be conducting the RVIA/RVDA training to ensure we have even more certified techs on
staff to take proper care of your motorhome issues. If any of you have attended any of my customer service seminars you know I
totally support the RVIA/RVDA program. As I always suggest, if you cannot make it to Alliance for service (Don’t forget our
Georgia store!), make sure you seek out a repair facility that has certified technicians. The hourly rate may be a little higher, but
the difference is a certified tech has at least two years’ experience working on motorhomes, not changing oil at Jiffy Lube. A
Master Certified Tech has to have at least 5 years of RV experience to achieve that level of certification. To maintain certification
all technicians are required to attend ongoing training on everything that is in your motorhome. Quite a bit of this advanced
training is done by the manufactures themselves through the Internet and webinars. A lot of customers don’t realize that
certification includes receptionists, warranty writers, parts personnel and management. It is a costly venture but here at Alliance
we want to make sure you have the best RV service experience available. If you haven’t been here, stop by, take a tour, meet our
staff and I assure you; you will want to bring your coach here for service.
As always, have a safe trip and if you’re not having fun, turn the key.

Lake Park News
Marti Bray was our Product Advisor in Sales but starting this month she will be shifting over to the parts
counter to assist Krissi Mitchell, who has been our only Parts Associate since last September. Marti has
been training hard with Krissi and has been learning a lot over the last couple of weeks. We believe these
two are going to be very successful together! We are very excited about all of the changes that have been
made lately and we can’t wait to see what the month of June has in store for Alliance Coach of GA!
To offset Marti Bray moving to parts, Dustin Dillard has joined our sales team. He and his older brother
Derek, (who started in Sales late last year) have been working hard to provide our customers with a
“Better RV Experience.” Dustin and his wife Breanne have a 2 year old daughter named Layla, he enjoys
spending time with his family and hunting & fishing. Derek attends Wiregrass Technical College in the
evenings, where he majors in Welding.
Happy Birthday to Lake Park Service technicians Joel Willis (June 18), and Jayson Vanzant (June 16). 6

Top Ten Things You’ll Never Hear a Dad Say:
10. Well, how ‘bout that?...I’m lost! Looks like we’ll have to stop and ask for directions.
9. You know, Pumpkin, now that you’re 13, you’ll be ready for unchaperoned dates. Won’t that be fun?
8. I noticed that all your friends have a certain ‘up yours” attitude…I like that.
7. Here’s a credit card and the keys to my new car—GO CRAZY.
6. What do you mean you wanna play football? Figure skating not good enough for you son?
5. Your Mother and I are going away for the weekend. You might want to consider throwing a party.
4. Well, I don’t know what’s wrong with your car. Probably one of those doo-hickey thingies—you
know—that make it run or something. Just have it towed to a mechanic and pay whatever he asks.
3. No son of mine is going to live under this roof without an earring—now quit your belly-aching, and let’s
go to the mall.
2. What do you want to get a job for? I make plenty of money for you to spend.
1. Father’s Day? Don’t worry about that…it’s no big deal.
And Some Things Almost Every Dad Has Said
Don’t worry. It’s only blood.
Get your elbows off the table.
Do what I say, not what I do.
Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.
Who said life was supposed to be fair?
Hurt much? I didn’t feel a thing.
If you’re gonna be dumb, you’ve gotta be tough.

Points to Ponder
Tell people that there are 400 billion stars and they’ll believe you. Tell them a bench has wet paint and they have to touch it. Do married people live longer than single people or does it just SEEM longer? Is the fact that light travels faster than sound the reason why some people appear bright until you hear them speak? Where do forest rangers go to “get away from it all”? If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong? If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to see it, do the other trees make fun of it?
