Celadon, a US truckload carrier, has made its third acquisition in Canada this year; Kenan Advantage Group (KAG), a US bulk-hauler, purchased western Canada bulk carrier RTL-Westcan adding Westcanʼs 480 trucks to its fleet; and Canadian trucking giant Transforce will likely buy Vitranʼs Canadian operations and announced last month that it would acquire Clarke Transport, both of which are rail-oriented Canadian LTL carriers.
