Who are we?
Eberl’s Active Retreats is a
family-run company based in
Tyrol, Austria. Our mission is
to share with you our passion
for the mountains and wealth
of exciting activities which we
have right on our doorstep!
Where are we?
We are located in the Ziller
Valley, 65km from the capital
city of Tyrol, Innsbruck. Our
hotels are situated between the
Penken and Ahorn mountains
in the increasingly popular
resort of Mayrhofen.
What do we offer?
We offer a chance to explore
some of the natural wonders
of this region during the winter
and summer months. Snowsports, hiking, biking, rafting,
climbing and canyoning; are
just some of the activities on
offer to you during your stay.

The Ziller Valley is made up of the popular
resorts of Fugen, Kaltenbach,
Zell am Ziller and Mayrhofen,
located in the Austrian state of Tyrol.
Mayrhofen itself is the largest town in the
valley and is situated between the Penken
(Action) and Ahorn (Leisure) mountains
which offer a variety of different ski routes
and summer hiking trails to accommodate
all abilities.
The resort is located just 40 minutes from
the famous Hintertux glacier which offers
skiing and snowboarding 365 days of the
year as well as the opportunity of winter
walking trails and also a chance to visit to
the magical ice caves!

Resort Information
With 506km of pistes and 181 lifts inclusive
with the Zillertal Superskipass, the valley is
an ever popular destination for snow sports
enthusiasts worldwide.
During the summer months, the valley has
over 1000km of marked hiking routes
including adventure trails, with something for
all the family to enjoy.
The bustling town centre of Mayrhofen is
home to a variety of amenities with
traditional style cafes and restaurants offering
local produce from the valley in a cosy
atmosphere; to themed bars and nightclubs
for an unforgettable evening – including the
renowned “Scotland Yard” British style pub.

invite you to spend time at our family
mountain getaway in the private Stillup
Valley (home to Grandpa Herbert, an
accomplished harpist) where you can
relax and admire the breathtaking views

Summer & Winter Overview
Our Winter packages are created to get
you to the slopes as quickly as possible
upon arrival. With ski pass, equipment hire
and ski school available to book prior to
departure; there‘s so much more time to
spend on perfectly groomed pistes and in
cosy, tradtional mountain restaurants.
As the sun sets over Mayrhofen, the town
transforms into an après ski paradise.
With a huge variety of pubs, clubs and
late night bars to choose from. Whether
you wish to unwind with a pint of Guiness
in Scotland Yard or knock-back a Jägermeister on the dance floor of Brück‘n
Stadl; Mayrhofen really has it all in terms
of creating a ski holiday you won‘t forget!

Old traditional recipes are reinterpreted and
the ingredients are sourced locally from the
region, with the farmers from the surrounding
areas delivering fresh produce.

Start the day with an hearty fresh breakfast!
The buffet has a wide variety of options from
delicious pastries with jam to hot egg dishes
and fluffy croissants. Choose from a selection
of breads and cereals to give you plenty of
energy for an action-packed day!
The afternoon snack buffet offers cake and
coffee as well as piquant dishes and nibbles
before evening meal is served.
Enjoy your daily 5 course menu with
