Discuss Larry and Laurene’s careers in Bmovies, their growing popularity, and grab
some behind-the-scenes tips from these
legends of genre film whose credits include
Maniac Cop, It’s Alive, and The Ambulance.
LET’S SING...THERE’S ZOMBIES
OUTSIDE! Staged reading of a new
screenplay seeks feedback and… Brains!
Let’s Sing...There’s Zombies Outside! is a
zombie musical feature film. Actors will read
from the script while inviting the audience to
get involved in the production by giving
feedback on how to make this the best
zombie movie possible.
WEB SERIES MAVENS: Felicia Day, web
series creator, in conversation with Nick
Spinks & Lara Murray (Hoodlum)
Felicia will be sharing her thoughts on how to
create a winning web series. Considering The
Guild has now had six seasons and over 69
million views on YouTube, Doctor Horrible’s
Singalong Blog is a fan-favourite and she’s now
producing The Flog, we dare not miss a word!
And to think this is Day One!

Supa Star Guests of Sci-Fi, Fantasy,
“Inconceivable!”
… springs to mind when looking at this year’s
epic line-up of SUPA-STARS Supanova is
hosting for you to meet* and greet up close
and personal.We proudly introduce…
James Marsters is best known as ‘Spike’ from
Buffy and Angel but he’s been on many more
shows including Caprica, Torchwood, Smallville
and Hawaii Five-0, with voice credits like ‘Lex
Luthor’ from Superman/Doomsday and ‘Mr.
Fantastic’ from The Super Hero Squad Show!
Morena Baccarin set hearts aflutter as the
Companion ‘Inara’ in Firefly and Serenity.
Currently she’s starring in Homeland and has
kept busy with roles such as the Ori, ‘Adria’,
in Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate:The Ark of Truth,
and ‘Anna’ in the new V.
Felicia Day has transformed from
Whedonverse star of Buffy and Dr Horrible’s
Singalong Blog to a gaming and new
technology geek goddess with her
multi-award winning The Guild web series
and almost two million Twitter followers.
Nelsan Ellis has sprung to fame as the
charismatic and eccentric ‘Lafayette’ in the
vampire saga, True Blood.With the series
showing no signs of cooling, Nelsan’s star
continues to rise!

Luke Perry shot to international fame as
‘Dylan’ in Beverly Hills 90210 and followed it
up with TV series John from Cincinnati, Jeremiah
and Windfall as well as cult hit films Buffy the
Vampire Slayer and The Fifth Element.
Malcolm-Jamal Warner also shot to fame as
‘Theo Huxtable’ on The Cosby Show. Malcolm
& Eddie followed as did Jeremiah with Luke
Perry. Currently he can be seen on
Community and Reed Between the Lines.
Richard Kiel locked horns with 007 and
became the most iconic of all Bond villains as
‘Jaws’ in The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.
Golf fans loved him in Happy Gilmore too!
Cassandra Petersen, aka Elvira, Mistress of
the Dark, became a cult figure hosting the
weekly Movie Macabre. Cassandra will be
dressed and posing for photos as Elvira each
Saturday and appearing as herself Sundays.
Gareth David-Lloyd starred as Doctor Who
and Torchwood’s, ‘Ianto Jones’. His loyal fans
will be excited to know his band
Blue Gillespie have joined him on tour.
Frazer Hines (Adelaide exclusive) has the
distinction of being the longest serving Doctor
Who companion, as ‘Jamie McCrimmon’, in
the history of the series!

Fans of Merlin and Harry Potter can rejoice
equally with three stars from each series coming
down to Brisbane and Adelaide to meet* them!
From Merlin we have three Knights of the
Round-Table…
Rupert Young, ‘Sir Leon’, was the first of our
trio to join Merlin in season 2, episode
2’s,The Once and Future Queen.
Eoin Macken, ‘Sir Gwaine’, made an
immediate impact when he joined the series
in season 3 in the episode Gwaine.
Tom Hopper, as ‘Sir Percival’, is the most
recent addition to the series amongst our
guests but is already a fan favourite.
And Harry Potter fans have their very own
awesome trio of guests…
Tom Felton, the incredibly popular blond
baddie ‘Draco Malfoy’, has amazing credits
before and after the eight Harry Potter films
including The Borrowers, Anna & the King,
Second Sight, The Apparition and Rise of the
Planet of the Apes.
Chris Rankin has appeared as a member of
the Weasley family, ‘Percy’, in five of the films.
Alfie Enoch has portrayed faithful friend and
fellow student,‘Dean Thomas’!

Fullmetal Alchemist. Other credits include Ouran

John DiMaggio is best known as ‘Bender’
from Futurama, ‘Marcus Fenix’ in Gears of War
and ‘Jake’ from Adventure Time.
Billy West voices ‘Fry’, ‘Farnsworth’,

As always there’s plenty of gaming related
goodies at Supanova, whether it’s video gaming,
CCG games or the talent behind it all. Rooster
Teeth fans in particular should be excited
with three team members making their way
here, thanks to Hanabee, Kathleen Zuelch,
Chris Demarais and Kerry Shawcross.
In Brisbane there’s also Wizards showcasing
Duels of the Planeswalkers with free demos and
Zombster are running free workshops
building GunPla models. Meanwhile in Adelaide
Infinity Games are demoing CCG games
throughout the weekend.
Wrestling!
Get ready for action as the fighting athletes of
the Australasian Wrestling Federation (AWF)
invade Supanova again! See “in your face”
AWF live events three times daily (12pm,
2pm and 4pm) with each fun show action
packed with surprises galore. AWF Titles are
on the line! Who will survive and what will
be left of them? You can also visit the AWF
stand, meet the wrestlers, get merchandise
and be part of the AWF festivities. For
