possesedby those lthe seigneurs]of Lignon." However, he does not explicitly affirm that the St-Germains are

seigneurieinherited. in tum. by her grandson,Jeande La Poterie (generationVII). In fact, on 22 June 1404, "Jehan
de La Poterie. esquire.seigneurde La Nocherie. becauseof PerretteRousde.his wife" rendersan aven of the fief of
