The S100SP is the easy-to-use, low cost plain paper friendly
printer that delivers real operating economy.
OPTIMISED FOR PLAIN PAPER.
The standard four colour cartridge uses special Canon inks
formulated to produce superior results on plain paper. And both
the black and colour tanks can be replaced separately from each
other to also help save on operating costs.
SUPER ECONOMY MODE SAVES INK.
The Special Performance (SP) feature includes Super Economy
Mode. It uses up to 75% less ink than Standard or High Quality
Modes without the quality sacrifices common to many draft
modes. A special “printing matrix”, or dot arrangement, delivers
clear type and images at an extremely low cost per page.
A resume/cancel button allows printing to be quickly and easily
stopped to save on paper and ink wastage.
CONVERTS TO A SPEEDY B&W PRINTER.
The optional BC-20 black only ink cartridge can be used in place
of the colour cartridge. With 128 print nozzles it is capable of print
speeds up to 5 pages per minute. With its extra large ink capacity it
can print as many as 7000 pages in Super Economy
mode, making it ideal for reports, assignments
and correspondence.

DUAL INK DROP SIZES FOR FINE PRINT.
The S100SP achieves high quality printing by combining resolution
up to 720 dpi (dots per inch) with Canon’s Drop Modulation Technology.
This process automatically arranges large and small ink drop sizes in
up to five different combinations. This results in smooth colour gradations,
and improved tonal quality and definition of lines and edges. And, because
this process is printer-based, the image enhancement occurs automatically
without additional processing to slow print speeds.

AUTOMATIC PHOTO MODE PRINTING.
