LEISURE FACILITIES
Garden Cottages
One&Only Ocean Club has three pools – the Family Pool for young
children, the Versailles Pool for adults ages 14 years and older, and the new
Ocean Pool. The Ocean Pool, is perched overlooking the white sand beach
and turquoise sea beyond. This infinity-edge pool provides true relaxation
and inspiration with its never-ending views. The new Ocean Bar and Grill
lets guests enjoy a relaxing lunch without ever leaving the comfort of their
daybed. As the sun dips beyond the horizon guests linger into the evening
for sundowners or dinner on select evenings.
Secluded within the garden grounds are two 860-square-foot cottages. Each
two-bedroom, two-bath hideaway offers king-sized and Euro-king-sized beds.
French doors connect a spacious parlor and dining area to a large enclosed
courtyard with a plunge pool, ideal for private sunning or outdoor dining.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Guests’ accommodations, located either in the Hartford Wing or the Crescent
Wing, reflect the refined qualities of an elegant home, tasteful in every detail
and appointed with modern amenities
Hartford Wing
Guest rooms and suites offer a lovely view of the ocean or garden grounds,
best viewed from the inviting patio or balcony. The newly refurbished,
450- to 475-square-foot guest rooms are each furnished with a king-sized bed
and a sofa bed. The bathrooms have dual vanities, separate baths, rainshowers
and anti-fog shaving mirrors in the showers. Rooms also have 65-inch LG
televisions, American walnut trim, and USB charging ports on the desk and at
the bed and coffeemakers. The 975-square-foot one-bedroom suite offers a kingsized bed and a sofa bed; a large bathroom with a separate shower, bath and
dual vanities, and comfortable living space within a large living and dining area.
Crescent Wing
Guest rooms and suites appointed in an elegant island décor feature
hardwood louvered doors opening to a private patio or balcony,
offering endless views of pristine blue ocean. The 550-square-foot guest
room is furnished with a king-sized bed. The expansive 1,100-square-foot
one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath suite is a beautifully appointed retreat
with a king-sized bed and a large bathroom with a separate shower, a
Roman tub and twin sink basins.
Hartford Wing Ocean View Suite
Villas
The three- and four-bedroom villas, perched above the beach, are the most
luxurious accommodations at over 4,400-square-feet each. The gated entry
opens to a garden courtyard with a jetted tub and shaded dining patio. Glass
doors lead into the villa great room, where 25-foot-wide louvered doors
reveal expansive views of the infinity-edge pool, ocean and sky. The style is
distinctively British Colonial – vaulted ceilings, gentle fans, wood furnishings
and polished marble f loors. The living and dining area provides a plasmascreen satellite TV, DVD/CD player and surround sound system. There is a
full kitchen with a Viking range and barbecue grill in the garden. A private
chef is available at the guest’s request, and all meals prepared are priced based
on the menu selected. The two master bedrooms, each approximately 760
square feet, offer a king-sized bed and f loor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors with
ocean vistas. The master baths feature a large ocean view window beside the
bathtub and an indoor/outdoor shower that opens on one side to a secluded
sun deck. The third bedroom has two queen-sized beds, a private patio
and a separate bath. The four-bedroom villa offers an additional detached,
400-square-foot bedroom and bath set within the garden courtyard.
Guest Room Amenities
Standard amenities in each accommodation include service bar with
complimentary bottled water, satellite television and DMX music selection,
DVD and CD player, dual-line telephone with voice mail, high-speed internet
access port and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort, hair dryer, safe,
and laptop computers provided in suites. Each guest receives 24-hour personal
butler service, nightly turndown, a fresh fruit presentation upon arrival,
maid service twice daily, and champagne and strawberries delivered every
afternoon. Guests of One&Only Ocean Club also have full access and signing
privileges to the shops, the restaurants, the casino and the world’s largest
marine habitat at nearby Atlantis, Paradise Island.
