The
Story
about
Inclover
The groundbreaking INCLOVER Academy is an educational institution, which is heavily on job market
orientated and fits in Berlin way of life very well.
Our international staff is composed of freelance artists. Concurrently with their teaching they work still
successfully in their respective scope of work. On this way our docents can impart the last developments
of free market to the students.
The interior decoration of our training rooms generates a family ambient and sense of well being.
Small groups of students (max. six participants per course) guarantee an intensive and continuous
high level of education.
During the breaks the students can relax in our lounges and can take a well tasting coffee made by our
fully automated coffee machine. Our Academy is situated near to the famous street Kurfürstendamm
and in the immediate vicinity there are a wide range of bakeshops, snack bars and restaurants.
We extend a warm welcome to you and look forward to an enjoyable collaboration.

Inclover Academy enables a diverse and intensive training as make-up artist and hairstylist. In
this course you get all basics, which are necessary for entering into employment. In our short
workshops you can deepen your knowledge in various sectors, which you can attend just as you
like.
Already during your training you will be part of external photo shootings or make-up for fashion
shows and film shootings. Only on this way you will get assurance in your job, because practice
in school is incomparable with adverse conditions of everyday working life. You will experience
teamwork, creativity and the satisfying feeling to finish a project. Additionally you establish important contacts with potential prospective employers.
Before a job starts you will be prepared for all eventualities. In the course of the training you will
work on your portfolio, which will be the poster child for acquiring jobs in future.
You get a professional, high-quality brush set to start with jobs more easily. For selecting best
products and manufacturers we will give our yearslong experiences to you.

For all productions in the department of hair and make-up the priority is given to a perfect hairstyling.
Both classic updo for a bride styling and fancy big hair for a fashion show; knowledge in hairstyling is a
basic requirement for booking a make-up artists.
Indeed a hairdresser training is a good basis, but does not meet the needs in fotoshootings or catwalks.
However the schedule of the Inclover hairstyling course is tailored to the specific needs of your later
working area. Using the latest styling tools such as the GHD Styler our teachers share their acquired
experience with you. In a short period of time you can expand your existing skills by a variety of styling
techniques. From now on your creative ideas are no limits set anymore.

This intensive workshop is dedicated to make-up artists, who are neither hairdressers nor completed a theater
make-up education. Not only in photo shoots and theater performances, but especially on film sets the knowledge of several ladies and men haircuts is an essential part of the task field of a make-up artist. If you haven‘t
got the required skills, you could quickly come up against borders during a job and your clients could be quite
incomprehensible.
In the haircut course you will learn all necessary basics of the most required hairstyles, beginning with the
knowledge about your tools to the individual steps of a complex hairstyle.
With the advanced knowledge of the haircut intensive course you are now prepared for any contingencies of
everyday life of a make-up artist.

Like any other industry filmmaking is also subject of technical achievements and aesthetic developments.
One of the most significant changes in recent years is certainly the high definition (HD) technology. More
and more precisely, high-resolution and sharper is the cinematic raw material.
But the handling of continuity, the film-specific camera and lighting equipment as well as the analysis of a
script poses completely new, unforeseen challenges for the make-up artist.
You want to expand your working area to the exciting field of filmmaking and open up a new source of
income? The Inclover film & television make-up course guarantees you an easy introduction to the new
world of film shoots. From set vocabulary via peculiarities of light design and camera technology through
to cinematic special effects make-up you will go fully prepared to your first film shooting.

The basics of theatrical make-ups are not only an integral part of beauty and film area. Fashion shows by
Galliano and Alexander McQueen remind partially more of a theater production and regard similar challenges to the make-up artists backstage. Films regularly have got elements of theatrical make-ups, too,
these harmoniously blend into the aesthetic of other areas.
This workshop is adressed at make-up artists who want to learn the fundamentals of theater make-up and
haven‘t the opportunity learning three years full-time at a theater. For this purpose the basic elements
were singled out of the wide range of possibilities of theatrical make-ups upon which more complex
works can build. Therefore the students are able to use their acquiered knowledge in different application
areas.
At the same time you have the opportunity to test yourself and to expand your presentation folder to new
areas as part of the photoshootings taking place.
