Center for Movement & Awareness Quinta das Corujas is
situated , directly on the River Mondego, in the Serra da Estrela,
the largest Natural Park of Portugal, in the region of the Beira
Alta in Central Portugal. The provincial city of Guarda is 12 km
distance and the Spanish border is 50 km away. The domain is in
between the small mediaeval villages of Faia and Pero Soares. It
will take 1.5 hrs to reach the Atlantic coast of Aveiro We are a
driving distance of 2 hours from Porto and the airport, Lisbon is
a distance of 3 hours. To the Atlantic coast of Aveiro it will take
1,5 hour.
We offer different levels of accommodation for your stay : a
room at a Quinta, Quinta Studio´s, luxury camping at the Canvas
Hotel, camping in one of our Bell-tents with prepared Beds and
towels, caravan or camper on our small-scale campsite at the
river, or wild camping in a Quechua tent.
During your stay it is possible to take part in our extended
programme of horse riding, walks along the ancient roman
routes, swimming in the river or pool, massage treatment,
sculpting, visiting cultural sites and help working on our land.

Every day we serve delicious meals with organic
products from our own garden.
We make our own jams,
chutneys and juices of freshly picked fruits.
Our own olive oil is a delight !
All the water we use comes from our own well.
Dance floor - Yoga space
Our 121 m² wooden dance floor and the community
space is nestles close to the river, surrounded by olive
trees with a wonderful panoramic view . In this stunning,
tranquil setting we offer different kinds of workshops.
Our main focus is workshops for movement and
awareness meditation, (circle-) dance, yoga, retreats,
massage, music etc.
Rio do Mondego
With the sound of the running water you can
meditate and of course have a lovely refreshing swim.

It is possible to walk from the dance space at Quinta das Corujas to your
