2013 was a record year for sales and, particularly, the second half was a return to the continuing
momentum worldwide of customers accepting our Colloidal Silica Technology both in iron and steel and in
other areas such as glass, cement, copper, aluminum, sulfuric acid and various other applications using
high temperatures and/or corrosive materials.
We remain dedicated to the creation of value to our customers, suppliers, employees and shareholders
and we remember that all of our customers have alternatives, as do our suppliers, employees and shareholders. We need to concentrate on an enthusiastic pursuit of continuous improvement so that we remain
the alternative of choice for all who come in contact with us.
Our commitment is to provide the best products that our research department can develop and that our
manufacturing department can produce coupled with the best equipment and technical service personnel
to ensure that those products are used and installed properly.
We are also committed to being the best customer available for our suppliers and the best employer
available to our employees; as well as, providing the best value to our shareholders.
All of the above will ensure that we continue to grow and increase the faith of all those involved in our
