Club will provide green salad, Jamaica and decaf coffee.
Cost is 40 pesos if you bring a homemade dish to share for 6 people.

Bring your favorite game. Peggy and I will teach the card game of Golf
to anyone who brings two complete decks of cards. Please include the
jokers.

To all members,
It has come to the attention of your Treasurer, Carol Peel, that receipts for bar and food purchases are not
being signed by each member. In an effort to make it easier for all involved the following procedures have been
put into place.
Leti has two page carbonless receipts on her cart. Upon receiving your food and/or beverage that is available
on the drink cart each member is to sign his/her receipt along with your member number. At that time you will
physically have a copy in hand of your purchase.
If you order food on the course that is to be brought to you when you make the turn on Hole 9, a two page
carbonless receipt will be delivered with your order. At that time you will sign for your food along with your
member number. Again you will physically have a copy in hand of your purchase.
This same procedure will be followed in the restaurant/bar. Just as you would in any other restaurant or bar
establishment you ask for your bill. At that time your waiter will present you with a two page carbonless
receipt. You will sign for your food along with your member number. Again you will physically have a copy in
hand of your purchase.

Ha llegado a la atención de nuestra Tesorero, Carol Peel, que los recibos de consumo del restaurante bar
y carro-bar no están siendo firmados por cada miembro que pide comida o bebida. En un esfuerzo para
hacer más fácil para todos los que participamos en el proceso los siguientes procedimientos se han puesto
en marcha:.
Lety tiene recibos dobles con página de autocopiado en su carro-bar. Al recibir su comida y/o bebida
disponibles en el carro-bar cada miembro debe firmar su recibo y anotar su número de socio. En ese
momento usted tendrá una copia del recibo de su consumo.
Si pide comida en el campo para ser entregada cuando usted termine el Hoyo 9/18, al entregarle su
pedido también le será presentado el recibo de su pedido el cuadeberá ser firmado de conformidad y
anotar su número de socio. En estas ocasiones usted también tendrá físicamente una copia del recibo de
su pedido.
Este mismo procedimiento se seguirá en el restaurante bar. Tal como lo haría en cualquier otro
restaurante bar al pedir su cuenta. En ese momento su mesero le presentará el recibo con autocopiado a
donde deberá firmar de conformidad y anotar su número de socio. Una vez más usted obtendrá
físicamente una copia del recibo de su consumo.

Everyone, please congratulate Rosanna Aguirre for her excellent performance in Spain.
As a member of Lions Club International, Rosanna travelled to Marbella on the Costa del Sol in Spain to participate in a
charity golf competition organized by the Lions Club. The competition was to raise funds for children's charities around the
world. Participants came from Japan, the Philippines and all over Europe - Rosanna was the only participant from Mexico!
After three practice rounds on the Flamingos and Alferini golf courses, the competition was held over three days and points
were accrued each day. Asked about the competition she said that the other competitors were great, the courses were
difficult and THERE WERE NO CADDIES!! There were 180 entrants and Rosanna finished in 19th place!
This is an excellent result for an excellent cause. WELL DONE, ROSANNA!
