1.1 ECO series front loading glass and dishwashing machines
Machines constructed throughout in type 304 (1.4301) stainless steel and fully clad to rear, sides, and base. Additional
features include pressed tank with large radius coved corners, double wall construction for first class sound and heat
insulation, and tented internal upper surface to prevent dripping onto clean crockery.
All dishwashers are supplied with two plate racks, one cup rack and two cutlery holders, glasswashers are supplied with one
(ECO430) or two (ECO530) open glass racks. WRAS approval numbers & details can be found at the rear of the price list.

The Ao value is used to define the extent of thermal disinfection without reference to a particular temperature.
The Ao value is established by measuring the temperature and exposure time. Meiko thermal disinfection

Manufactured throughout in type 304 stainless steel and supported on a frame and legs manufactured from
40mm square section stainless steel tube. Anti-drip edge to front and one end and 10mm raised tap ledge with

2.1 Water softening apparatus
Meiko UK water softeners are based on the principle of ion exchange, i.e. water containing hardness salts
passes through a resin in which calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. Sodium salts do
not produce the same problems due to precipitation and scale formation. Effective water softening helps to
prolong the life of heating elements, and reduces scale build-up on final rinse nozzles, that in turn has a
detrimental effect on the washing result.

When installed within a dish table or work bench, the hopper of the UK series disposer unit enables
continuous feeding of food waste into the grinding mechanism. During operation, the safety cover prevents

Are quoted in British Pound (£) Sterling and are effective from the 1st January 2013.
Prices indicated presume that delivery can be accepted within three (3) months of order
receipt by Meiko UK Limited. Deliveries after this date will be subject to prices ruling at date
of goods dispatch.
VAT
Prices offered are net of Value Added Tax (VAT) which will be added at the rate applicable
at the date of despatch.
Delivery
Carriage is paid on all UK orders with net invoice value of £500.00, including Northern
Ireland, the Western Isles, the Northern Isles and the Isle of Wight. Orders below £500.00
net will be subject to delivery charges.
Deliveries are made on tailgate lift vehicles to customer premises. It is the responsibility of
the customer to move from delivery transport to storage or to installation location.
Meiko UK operate a delivery routing system based on the UK postcodes. For deliveries
outwith this schedule, or for special timed deliveries please contact our logistics
department for further information.

Are accepted and dispatched in accordance with our standard published terms and
conditions of sale, a copy of which is available upon request.
All appliances carry our standard twelve (12) months parts and labour warranty against
manufacturing or component defect, however exclusions do apply and a copy of these are
available upon request.
Off-loading, moving into position, assembly, final connections, or commissioning are
not allowed for within the prices indicated within this price list and will be subject to
additional charges.
