Welcome to the new BellaSous! BellaSous Brands is the largest and most respected manufacturer of highquality tutus, petticoats, pettipants, booty shorts, crinolines, and slips in the United States.
Our sister company, Malco Modes, was founded 80+ years ago in San Francisco, CA as a high-end women's
ready-to-wear fashion brand. The company eventually expanded into a variety of additional markets
including western/square dance and bridal. By the 1980's Malco Modes was the country's largest
manufacturer of high-quality square dance apparel, and had moved to its current location in Dayton,
Tennessee, USA. The company retained this square dance focus through the early 2010's.
In 2013, Malco Modes was purchased by JSA Fashions, Inc (d/b/a BellaSous Brands), in a private sale.
"BellaSous” roughly translates to "beautiful underneath," combining the Italian "bella" (translation: beautiful) - a
nod to the owner's heritage - with the French "sous” (translation: underneath) - a nod to the French heritage
from which many of our most popular garments derive their design inspiration.
After a long history of producing high-quality, American-made costume accessories, Malco Modes costume
line was officially spun-off and re-branded "BellaSous Costume" in 2015. BellaSous Costume, along with the
other BellaSous brands (including Malco Modes (vintage), Professional Dance / Theatrical, Bridal, and Sam's
Custom) aim to manufacture high-quality women's base garments for a variety of industries, with the goal of
creating beauty through both meticulous garment construction and by enhancing the self-confidence of our
customers by making them feel comfortable, luxurious, and ultimately beautiful.
Since our founding, BellaSous has been privately American-owned and operated, and has excelled by
adhering to the old-world tradition of providing superior quality, while adapting to changing times. Each
BellaSous garment is hand-sewn with pride in our facility in Eastern Tennessee, and combines outstanding
craftsmanship with meticulous detailing. Our products are crisp, clean and fresh, without the odor and
discoloration often observed with cheap imports. All BellaSous products have been built with the quality and
durability required by dancers and other professional stage and screen performers.

All petticoats and slips are measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the trim.
Additional Information:
Most petticoats are stocked in inventory. Colors, sizes, and wait times may vary depending on availability.
All petticoats come with a nylon waistband unless otherwise specified.
Custom variations on items are available through our sister company, Sam’s Manufacturing. Please inquire for details
regarding products and pricing.
Payments and Shipments:
New Accounts: Must be pre-paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx, Wire Transfer, PayPal, or Cashier’s Check in

Shipments:
Most shipments are F.O.B. Dayton, Tennessee 37321. Occasionally we will ship very small orders from
an alternative warehouse, depending on product availability and required delivery times.
Terms:
New and foreign accounts must be pre-paid. Approved existing accounts will be billed upon
shipment. Pre-pay requirements may also apply to very large orders—please inquire for details. Note
that we will hold completed orders upon customer request, but in this case customer will be billed at
the time of order completion.
Fulfillment:
Delivery times vary widely depending on order size and demand. We hold most products in stock, so
smaller orders can often be shipped within a few days. However, order for quantities larger than
those held in inventory will require some lead time to product. Please inquire for details.
Delivery:
All orders shipped via UPS, FedEx, and USPS in the United States. All orders are insured unless otherwise
requested. We are not responsible for orders after they have shipped. When it is not possible to ship
an order complete, a partial order will be shipped with the balance to be shipped upon completion.

To return an item, please contact customer service at

packed. If damage or shortage should occur, please
report immediately to carrier for inspection as our liability
ceases on delivery to carrier.
Then please send the items, a copy of the invoice, the
return authorization number we gave you, and an
explanation of the reason for return to the following
