Identification:
Manufacturer's name or trademark, nominal pipe size, model number when
applicable and the legend "For Outdoor Irrigation Systems Only", or
equivalent and model number, when applicable. Markings shall be permanent,
legible and visible after installation. The product shall also have UPC®
certification mark.
Characteristics:
Fittings covered here are intended for above ground and buried applications.
The fittings are intended for use with PVC pipe for irrigation systems, in
sizes IPS‐1/2 to IPS‐2. Plastics used in the manufacture of
fittings that are sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) radiation or have no natural
resistance to UV radiation shall be compounded to provide UV stabilization.
Primers or solvent cements not to be used on installation. To be installed in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and the latest edition of the
Uniform Plumbing Code.
Products listed on this certificate have been tested by an IAPMO R&T
recognized laboratory. This recognition has been granted based upon the
laboratory's compliance to the applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
