Selected as this site occupies a unique position 100m
from one of the best beaches in the southern Vendée
and a short walk from the centre of La Tranche. The
troughs of beautiful flowers in the reception area creates
a welcoming atmosphere. It is a small intimate site with
a good mixture of nationalities and no organised
evening entertainment. Although well-shielded from the
road, there may be some traffic noise. Access to the
beach is via two gates operated with a magnetic key.
There is a sea-water lagoon right next to beach where
you can learn to windsurf.

Pitches
Flat, sandy pitches separated by hedges and varying in size up
to 100m². The turning circle is tight for large outfits. Many
good pitches are pre-booked by regulars so early reservation is
recommended with exact details of your outfit’s dimensions
essential. The quieter pitches are to the right of the reception
towards the end of the site.
Hook Up
10 amps - all pitches. Water & drainage - none.
Motorhomes
Ideal for motorhomes as site has motorhome service point and
is walking distance of town and beach.

Directions
From La Roche-Sur-Yon, take the D747 to La Tranche-sur-Mer.
On arrival in La Tranche you come to a roundabout take the
second exit towards the beach. At the T-junction turn right
following signs to the campsite and then follow the road round
to the left. The site entrance is on your left after 500m.

Two well maintained toilet blocks. The main block is modern
with toilet seats and toilet paper, although there are still a
couple of French style toilets in the smaller block. Push button
temperature control showers with hooks and shelves.

Bread in the morning. Shops within walking distance.
Bar/Restaurant La Paillotte just outside the gate on beach site
