2015 End Of Season
The City of Roswell’s TWO premiere spraygrounds are currently open for the 2015 season.
The Spray Station at East Roswell Park will close in August. Splash ‘n Play at Riverside will
remain open daily with limited hours through Labor Day, and then open only on weekends
in September. Both spraygrounds offer different varieties of spray features, and include
concession stands and rental pavilions. Daily Fees apply. Adults not entering the water
with paid child and infants under 1 yr. are free. Birthday Party Packages, Private Rentals,
and Pavilion Rentals are available at both locations. Please call 770-594-6134 to make

Our 4th Annual Back to School Bash is held in conjunction with our B98.5 Movie (Cinderella) at
Riverside Park. This GREAT family event includes a cookout (Hamburger, Veggie Burger or All-Beef
Hotdog, Chips and a Drink) with your choice of our Novelty Ice-cream for dessert, PRIVATE access
to the Sprayground for your family (closed to the public) until the movie starts, and a reserved
seating area down in front for the B98.5 Movie starting at dark!! Come out to celebrate the start
of your school year with us! Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets. All ages. Register at

Rent a raft, canoe, kayak, tube or paddle board and take a fun and relaxing trip down the
Chattahoochee River, or rent some bikes and enjoy the scenic riverfront trails and parks.
Open 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. daily (last hourly rental is at 6 p.m.) from Memorial Day through
Labor Day. (After Labor Day weekend, see website for dates and hours open) Shuttle service

SPIRIT OF ROSWELL
We are also home of the “Spirit of Roswell” Riverboat and available for group, wedding,
corporate, school, and party rentals. Accommodates up to 60 passengers. Drop off and pick up at

Held at Centennial High School (a drug, alcohol and tobacco free school). Featuring music,
carnival games, giant inflatables, face painting, our annual twist contest for the kids and
spectacular fireworks at dark. Proceeds support many Centennial Clubs. Food provided by Shane’s
Ribshack. Sponsored by Aurora Cineplex and The Fringe, Wal-Mart, Sams Club, and Fulton County
Schools.

ROSWELL RIVERSIDE SOUNDS
Sat., 9/5 and 10/3 - Free!
Roswell Riverside Sounds, an annual series of six free outdoor concerts held at Riverside Park,
575 Riverside Road, monthly from May through October from 7-9 p.m. In September, Monty
Montgomery will perform the reggae songs that made Billboard magazine recognize him as one of
the top reggae artists of all time. In October, the Get Right Band will perform their live show that
covers everything from funk to rock n’ roll to reggae. Food trucks are on-site at each concert from

SATURDAY BIG CREEK WORK PARTY

In order for RAMBO to have the trails cleared of leaves and debris for the X-Terra running race on
the first Sat in Nov, we have a work party, and invite all those interested in giving something back
to the Big Creek trail system to join us from 9am till 1pm. Lunch and tools will be provided. Please

FAMILY MUSIC AND WELLNESS EXPO
Come and join us at Riverside Park for our Fall Family Music, Health and Wellness Expo. Various
vendors from around the community will offer services in either health or wellness and the music
industry: chiropractors, physical therapists, dentists, health insurance companies, rehabilitation
devices services, hospitals, musicians and DJ’s. We will also be offering free screenings for blood
pressure, bone density, blood glucose and more. There will be hands on interaction with real
musical artists, health vendors and more. face painters and inflatables will be on hand to entertain
the kids. We will be showcasing local artists in the area, and will have fitness demonstrations thru
out the day. So come out and enjoy this fun filled day. Door prizes will be given away. For more

CELEBRATION ON THE SQUARE

This family event includes carolers from local schools, lighting of Town Square, a reading of ‘Twas
the Night Before Christmas, and a special visit for everyone, Santa Claus! Pictures with Santa
available at a nominal fee; holiday shuttle bus is available to the gift shop.

The Southern Trilogy (Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation) present the 2nd annual
Twisted Tinsel Holiday Spectacular. Ride the trolley between the three antebellum mansions
decorated for the holidays while they host a whacky winter extravaganza. There will be crazy

KID’S VALENTINES PARTY
East Roswell will host a super fun party for children ages 3-11, while Mom and Dad take a night

ROSWELL ROOTS
February 1-28
In February, Roswell will host the 15th annual Roswell Roots: A Festival of Black History and
Culture. There are a variety of events at locations throughout the city ranging from music and art
exhibitions to poetry. The festival has been awarded the Gold Award for Best Cultural Event by
the Southeast Festival and Events Association. Bulloch Hall will present their exhibit, “Sharing
the Story of Slavery” during regularly scheduled tours in the month of February. For a complete
