Welcome to Division Seven, Leeds! We look forward to working with you this year! YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES FUND Our 2014-2015 District Project
Our District Project this year is called “Change for Children.” Our district will be focusing on raising money to build a Pediatric Dialysis Unit for Children’s Hospital. Our goal is to raise $40,000 for this project. We are also continuing to raise money for Reading is Fundamental (RIF), and UNICEF. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for each of these organizations. This brings our district to a grand goal of $50,000 throughout this year. While keeping Children’s The Youth Opportunities Fund, or YOF, is an endowed fund for Key Club International held in the Kiwanis International Foundation. YOF is a grant given to a specific key clubber or key club, to support a service project that school is planning on holding. You can apply for YOF by going to www.alabamakeyclub.org, locating the “club resources” tab, and finding the “Youth Opportunities Fund Application” link. Each club should apply for this grant, as it could benefit your community tremendously. Hospital in mind as an all year project, please focus on RIF in the spring, and UNICEF in the fall. I am confident this district can reach our goal of $50,000. CLUB OFFICER ELECTIONS Meet Your 2014‐2015 District Board! If you have not elected club officers yet, I strongly advise you do so before school lets out.
