Established by the Stone family in Orwell, VT in 1976, Stonewood raises
turkey naturally, using only vegetable and whole grain feed, resulting in
a premium, flavorful meat. Paul Stone attributes the fine quality of their
turkey to "plenty of Vermont air, cold nights, good feed and tender loving
care on our family farm." The family also operates a USDA Inspected
processing plant located on the farm, so birds aren't trucked hours to a
facility and can be humanely harvested. These turkeys are never frozen.
