Beyond the Common Core
Assembly Programs
888-522-arts
“Every young person in America deserves a complete and competitive
education that includes the arts. America’s global stature, culture of
innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit depend on the strength of a world-class
education system. Perhaps now more than ever—as the country becomes
increasingly diverse, the world more interconnected, and the workplace more
oriented around technology and creativity— arts education is key to such a
system and to ensuring students’ success in school, work, and life”
– Preparing Students for the Next America, April 2013, Arts Education Partnership
As school leaders face the challenge of achieving the Common Core
Standards, many educators agree that the arts play a vital role in preparing
students for college and career success. The arts teach children the creative
process – an integral part of learning that is covered in no other subject. Arts Horizons has reached over 9,000,000 children and been at the
forefront of arts integration for the past 36 years.
Our professional artists inspire imaginative
new approaches to learning that
translate into an improved attitude
towards school, better attendance
and a higher achievement level. We invite you to work with our
staff to create a program that fits
the needs of your curriculum,
schedule and budget.
