Instead of picking a wardrobe from the IKEA floor, I wanted to
delve deep into the world of customisation and IKEA’s. So I logged
on to IKEA’s website and used their PAX wardobe planner tool
www.IKEA.co.th/paxplanner.

1. Start by choosing a style that suits
you. I wanted a darker colour to go with
the wall.
2. Next, customize the size
of your wardrobe. There
are three different aspects
of your wardrobe you can
customize now. I started
with the door because I
want to see my outfits in
all its glory, and be able to
check myself out when I
downward dog in my room,
I added mirrors on the
surface of the doors.

travel and adventures, amongst other things that I hold
very dear, but the shell that holds all these memories

ike many unmarried Thai people in their
twenties, I am living with my parents in their
homely house that we just moved into recently.
This also means that some of the furniture in
my old room needs to be moved with me. With my bed
goes behind me since I’ve bought a lovely queen-sized
one from IKEA. I now have a different problem. I am
like the other girls that spend half of my time shopping
and the other half actually travelling. Trying hard not to
shop, and failing most of the time.
4. My favorite part is saved
for last: customizing the
interior. Start with a preset,
and delete and add various
options out of or into your
wardrobe. I wanted three
different sections for mine
specifically - one for tops,
one for bottoms, and the
last for dresses. I have
drawers for knickers and
essentials, some space
right on top for my bags.
5. Add them all to your shopping list,
select which IKEA store you want to
get the wardrobe from and the site tells
you whether your bits and bobs are in
stock. What a wicked idea. Print the
page and you’re set to shop for a new
wardrobe. Remember to drop by the
restaurant for IKEA’s delicious nuggets.
As for me, my abyss of
adventures and memories
now have a prettier home.
And I can’t wait to show it off!

So you just got home after a long day’s

learnt about different types of flowers in

Instead of getting angry and worrying about
repainting the wall, you can try using baby
oil or toothpaste. Here are some other
cleaning tips using common items found
around the home.
Refresh your chopping
board
Squeeze a few drops of lemon
juice on the board, rub and
let it sit for about 20 minutes
before rinsing.
Removing water stains on
wooden furniture
Use hairdryer on low heat to
dry the affected area. Then
rub olive oil, used tea bags or
even mayonnaise over the area.
The oil and tannins will act as a
natural polish.
