Youngstown Youth Flag Football Association
On June 29, a group of kids ages 9 to 11 participated in a flag football tournament in Foxborough,
Maine, held in Gillette stadium, home of the New England Patriots. The group consisted of kids from
Youngstown, McDonald, Struthers, Boardman and Girard. In a division that had 12 teams that traveled
New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine, these kids finished 2nd in the tournament.
To recognize area young athletes who are learning good sportsmanship, self-confidence, physical fitness,
cooperation and leadership, The DeBartolo Corporation sponsors this page weekly in The Vindicator.
