Pomme de Terre Lake
Mike and Nathan beat up on us pretty good winning Pomme by 15.17 lbs over the 2nd place team
at our first G-Loomis Tournament. They had a total of 20 fish weighing 41.33 lbs, including Mike’s
4.43 pound big bass for Saturday. Their weight
puts them on the Top Ten Heavy Stringer list
(there is no way to calculate a place so they will
be added at the bottom with a note stating that
three sessions were fished). They weighed in 10
fish each and caught their fish on spinnerbaits,
top water and ten inch worms. First place payout
was $236. Congratulations Mike and Nathan!
Hawg Hawlers Bass Club
Seventeen boats competed in our first G-Loomis
tournament taking off out of Pomme State Park
Marina (417-852-4567). The marina has been a
long time supporter of Hawg Hawlers Bass Club.
Our other Pomme supporters are: Nemo Bridge
Resort nemobridgeresort.com and Lucky’s Restaurant & Sports Bar 417-852-1414. We always appreciate their donations and Hawg Hawlers Bass Club
highly recommends these supporters to anyone
planning a trip to Pomme de Terre Lake. There was
a total of 137 fish brought in but 70 of those were
brought in by the teams in the top 5 places along
with 121.80 lbs of the 219.80 total pounds. Skies
were clear to cloudy with winds averaging 15 mph
and temperatures ranging from 60 - 90 degrees.
The water was stained with water temperatures in
the mid 70’s. The lake level was up a bit but we all
like it when the water is high so ... not up as much
as we would have liked.

out. If you would like to volunteer to be a tournament director please contact any of your officers.
