Summer with its hot temperature is no comparison to the hot laser tag action at
Laser Storm. All the new members add to this increase in laser tag intensity. The
Winter League has concluded and the Summer League has started. The Regional
Finals competition has been completed and a Members Event was held with the
next event scheduled. We even participated in the international Armageddon
tournament.
All this action makes for a very high level of laser tag. Come on down if you want
to learn how to play at this high level. The experienced members will share their
knowledge.

August Member’s Event!
Another Members Event was held on April 16th. As usual this event had all the
crazy games that you do not get to play any other time. The most favorite game
was the Inverted U.
The next Member’s Event has been scheduled for Saturday night after
Midnight Madness on August 27th. This event is going to be different from the
rest. It will only be a 2 hour event but the price will only be $15. This event will
ONLY include laser tag. No food or drinks for this one.
Keep your eye open for the signs to be posted around the store and
notifications on Facebook and Laser Storm’s website. Also email notifications will
be sent out about events.
Armageddon
A first for the Pittsburgh area. The 2011 International Laser
Tag Tournament Armageddon was held at Laser Storm
Pittsburgh on July 4th.
Players came from England, Scotland, Sweden,
Canada and the United States. The states
represented where Pennsylvania, Ohio, California,
Texas and Maryland.
The tournament started on July 1st with a bus trip
to Cincinnati. A round robin tournament was
held on two different laser tag systems each
day. The final day was at Laser Storm Pittsburgh
at 9:00 am and concluded at 1:00 pm.
The bus pulls up with over 50 laser tag players.
Before they enter the store, it looked like the
paparazzi outside taking pictures of the Armageddon
banner hanging on the front door.
This is the first time a banner was made for the Armageddon tournament. All
the players signed the banner, even “Big Nana” the bus driver. Completing
the memorabilia was a membership card matching the banner.
The Summer League has entered the playoffs. The team Down to Fire ranked first at
the end of the double series round-robin. Each of the teams have been doing their best
to get ready for the playoffs. The 2 series round robin has seeded the teams for the
double elimination tournament.

Regional Season UPDATE
The Regional Tournament Season has concluded. All the teams
were fighting for the first place title. This title names the Regional
Champions. The team Vendetta pulled out the win over all the other teams,
but just behind them was the team Prom Night. Congratulations Vendetta!
Rave, Siren, Spyder, Dominator and Cloud put together a great team.
The National Tournament is being held at the new Robinson arena.
The date is set to start on July 22nd and end on July 24th. Hope everyone
has been practicing and bring your best game. Good Luck EVERYONE!
