The Illinois River
Valley Special Recreation
Association (IRVSRA) is a
cooperative extension of
Pekin and Fon du Lac Park
Districts to provide recreational programs and leisure
services for individuals with
developmental disabilities.
Integrated and specialized
programs are available for
residents and nonresidents
with special needs.
Peer groups are
invaluable. IRVSRA provides
opportunities to individuals
with disabilities to surround
themselves with friends and
neighbors that share commonalities. It is our pleasure
to provide these athletic
and social settings for the
special needs population in
the Tazewell County area.

This program is for everyone interested in gardening, nature crafts, and having
fun. While we wait on spring we will meet
inside and create a garden or nature related
craft to take home. As it gets warmer, we
will be doing more activities outside. Our

for all things green. This program will have
great opportunities to make your thumb
greener as the months go by, so be sure to
register for all the E.G. classes and maybe
one day you will be bringing home free vegetables and flowers from our IRVSRA Sensory Garden.
