The chances of having a Japanese Noh theater production in Lebanon is an event
in itself, but when this is a Naohiko Umewaka production, then this is the theatre
event of the year. With roots going back to 700 years, Noh is one of Japan’s major
classical musical drama and it is the oldest major theatre still regularly
performing today.

Shakespeare has inspired the great composers. The world renowned pianist
Alexei Volodin is definitely the best to interpret Shakespeare’s influence on
Russian composers.

This very fair and fiery Spaniard violinist means business: She and her
Pietro Guarneri violin have been featured in the most prestigious festivals
worldwide. She was a pupil of the all time Master Mstislav Rostropovich.
During the course of this concert, Moreno will perform Wieniawski’s 2nd violin
concerto, a demanding and captivating piece.
