Introduction
Step 6 of the 10 Steps program asks the team members to help reduce defects by acknowledging
the causes of defects and coming up with solutions to prevent them in the future. These responses
have always been addressed in binders, known as the 10 Steps books. To make it easier to view and
answer defects, the responses have now been moved online.
The 10 Step Log link is found by accessing Labinal Corinth’s intranet under “Operation” and then
under “Quick Links.”

C. ATL Flag
ATL’s have the responsibility to look at the actions and approve or reject (flag) them. If the
ATL reviews your action and finds it acceptable, the defect will turn green. However, if the
ATL reviews your answer and it is not acceptable, the ATL will flag the defect, and it will
turn red. Yellow means the defect has been answered but not reviewed by ATL, and white
means the defect has not been answered. If your action is red, you need to revise your
answer. You can find the defect through “Log by Date” or “Complete Log.”
