Arawak Aqua Park
Beach Cabana at Nellie’s Beach
General Information
Accessibility: A limited number of complimentary attended
beach wheelchairs are available at the pier. All food and beverage
venues, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
Fresh water: Water in the restrooms is NOT intended for
drinking. Drinking water is available by the glass at all bars and
cafés.
Health and first aid: The tropical sun can be extremely strong,
even on cloudy days. We recommend that guests use sunscreen
and bring T-shirts, cover-ups and, particularly for children and the
sun-sensitive, sun-protective clothing like rashguard swimshirts.
Plants and marine life: Help us to preserve the natural beauty
of Labadee. Please do not pick the flowers or remove marine life
such as shells or coral from the water.
We also advise having footwear that protects against the
hot sand, pathways, rock and corals, especially if you plan on
spending time at Adrenaline Beach or Dragon’s Beach. Footwear
that protects against hot sand is available for purchase at the
Buccaneer’s Bay Trading Post.
Try to avoid strenuous activity on shore or in the water after
eating. To reduce the risk of dehydration, drink plenty of
liquids. Our First Aid Station is manned throughout the day.
Swimming: For the safety and enjoyment of our guests,
Columbus Cove and Nellie’s Beach are designated for swimming,
as are parts of Adrenaline Beach and Dragon’s Beach. Some
parts of Dragon’s Beach are designated for sunbathing only, due
to rocks and reefs in the water.
Artisan’s market and the artisan’s village:
Souvenirs as well as locally made crafts, paintings and other
artworks are for sale (U.S. dollars, MasterCard and Visa are
accepted). Be ready to bargain!
Trading posts: (SeaPass only) Shop for T-shirts, aqua
shoes, sunglasses, hats and accessories.
Lunch: Enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch at your choice of
three locations: Dragon’s Café, Labadee Café and Columbus
Café. Please consult your Cruise Compass for hours of operation.
Island purchases: You may use your SeaPass card to pay for
beverages and all activities in Labadee. You will need cash
to shop in the Artisan’s Market and Artisan’s Village. It is
recommended to have small bills on hand.
Waste disposal: We appreciate your cooperation in keeping
Labadee clean and free of debris. Kindly use the trash receptacles
provided.
Lounge chairs: Just as on board, lounge chairs on Labadee are
complimentary. They cannot be reserved and guests are asked
to refrain from offering payment for the chairs.
Adventure ocean®: Labadee features its own Adventure
Ocean facility for children and teens ages 3 to 17 with activities
supervised by the Youth Staff from your ship. Consult your
Cruise Compass for the time and location of activities.
Towels: Be sure to pick up towels at the towel station on the
ship, as they are not available on the island. Check your Cruise
Compass for the towel station’s hours of operation.
Snorkeling and scuba programs: Guests must consider
their physical fitness level and medical history when
determining whether these types of tours are appropriate.
Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy,
other heart or respiratory conditions or any other medical
condition must take particular caution when selecting a
tour with snorkeling/swimming elements, since such water
activities could be subject to adverse sea conditions such as
high winds, waves and sea current. Guests who have concerns
must consult with their personal physician before engaging in
any activity that may be strenuous for them, particularly those
involving snorkeling/swimming elements.
On the north coast of Hispaniola, surrounded by low mountains lush with exotic foliage, sits Labadee®, Royal Caribbean’s
private paradise. This exclusive destination features pristine beaches, unique attractions and spectacular water activities
and adventures, including an amazing Aqua Park for kids. Our seven neighborhoods each offer distinct ambience, from
total relaxation to high-energy thrills, but wherever you are, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking land and seascapes.
Labadee’s natural beauty and genuine native charms make this a destination not to be missed .

created exclusively for its guests. Behind the breezy
island charm is a rich and colorful swashbuckling
past. Nellie’s Beach is named for the Englishwoman
who, legend has it, arrived at the time of the
buccaneers and set up a trading post and tavern to
serve visiting ships and their crews. The Old Bell
Tower was erected to herald their arrival. Although
the bell has been lost to history, the tower still
stands today.
