Forming Lubricants
YOUR PERFECT
PRODUCT PARTNER
At FUCHS we research, develop and manufacture bespoke
lubricants; technology that is approved for use by leading manufacturers and available globally via the FUCHS organisation.
We specialise in developing products for extreme tribological
problems. Our forming lubricants provide exceptional tool and
work piece protection.
The metalworking process involves many complex steps that
are interdependent and carefully matched. The lubricants used
throughout the process need to guarantee optimum process
compatibility. Cross-compatibility is constantly monitored in
our state-of-the-art research facilities and laboratories. Our
quality checking guarantees a reliable process chain starting
with forging, forming, and metal cutting through to cleaning,
corrosion protection and coating.
Decades of experience, technical expertise and global approvals
from leading manufacturers makes our product programme
unique.

STAMPING, EMBOSSING
& BLANKING
DRAWING
The process of forming the sheet metal into the shape required generates friction and surface abrasion. By choosing the right
lubricant, manufacturers can protect the tool and die surface from scratching or galling as well as minimising and preventing surface
abrasions.
Our drawing lubricants provide exceptional tool protection, minimise wear and have superior forming quality resulting in optimised
costs even in the most difficult applications.
RENOFORM UBO SERIES
RENOFORM MBO SERIES
RENOFORM MBW SERIES
PLANTOFORM SERIES
Solvent based vanishing lubricants that are ideal for light duty
stamping or embossing of steel and non-ferrous metals.
Non-water miscible, high performance forming oils for all materials including carbon steel, coated sheet steel and steel alloys.
Synthetic forming lubricant that is suitable for all metals, especially for yellow metals that are sensitive to staining.
Helps to prolong tool life.
Components treated with
RENOFORM UBO require no degreasing prior to subsequent
operations and the lubricants do not negatively affect or interfere
with working processes such as soldering, welding or painting.
Compatible with all metallic and non-metallic materials.
Forms a stable oil film, which ensures good corrosion protection.
Product stays liquid at low temperatures and has good oxidative
stability. Compatible with all grades of steel including galvanised
and aluminium-coated steels.
Water soluble and/or emulsifying drawing oils allowing users
to adjust the concentrations as required depending on the
application.
RENOFORM LVO SERIES
The specialist additives guarantee that no welding or wear occurs
between the tool and the work piece. The residual oil film offers
good corrosion protection.
Due to its favourable viscosity, product is highly suitable for
difficult forming operations. Product is easily biodegradable and
shows good skin compatibility compared with other forming
lubricants. Shows good performance in minimising unwanted
metal deformation.
PLANTOFORM SERIES
RENOFORM MBO SERIES
RENOFORM HBT SERIES
Undiluted, solvent-based stamping lubricants for moderately
heavy stamping of iron, non-ferrous metals and steel.
Synthetic forming lubricant that is suitable for all metals, especially for yellow metals that are sensitive to staining.
Non-water miscible, high performance forming oils for all materials including carbon steel, coated sheet steel and steel alloys.
Leaves an ultra-thin protective film once the solvent evaporates.
The RENOFORM LVO products have a higher flash point meaning there is less loss of product due to evaporation even when
the fluid is under pressure. Compatible with all metallic and nonmetallic components.
Product is easily biodegradable and shows good skin
compatibility compared with other forming lubricants. Shows
good performance in minimising unwanted metal deformation.
Forms a stable oil film, which ensures good corrosion protection.
Product stays liquid at low temperatures and has good oxidative
stability. Compatible with all grades of steel including galvanised
and aluminium-coated steels.
Superior drawing compounds with optimised content of solid
lubricant, making them suitable for the highest deformation
ratios.
FINE BLANKING
RENOFORM HBO SERIES
RENOFORM HBX SERIES
RENOFORM HBO SERIES
Fine blanking is an extremely precise, high volume manufacturing process. Our fine blanking oils aid material flow, resulting in
cleanly sheared cutting plane edges on finished parts.
High performance forming lubricant suitable for fine blanking
operations.
Solid, wax-like forming lubricant specifically designed for the
drawing of difficult-to-form steels, stainless steels and aluminium
alloys.
High performance forming lubricant suitable for drawing and
deep drawing operations.
The oil film has extreme load carrying capabilities, which
minimises wear, reduces friction, and prolongs tool life. Suitable
for a range of metals.
The solid film ensures good corrosion protection for the treated
parts. Has very good compatibility with all conventional tool
coatings and provides maximum wear resistance for the tooling
parts.
Extremely effective in wear reduction, has good anti-scoring
properties and provides extended tool life. Recommended for
bare, galvanised and otherwise coated steel sheets.
The oil film has extreme load carrying capabilities, which
minimises wear, reduces friction, and prolongs tool life. Suitable
for a range of metals.

HYDROFORMING
Hydroforming enables the manufacturing of sophisticated
components with complex geometries. The hydroforming manufacturing process utilises a range of lubricant systems with
different functions that have to be fully compatible with each
other. Cross compatibility of the FUCHS lubricants is a key part in
the development of our product portfolio.
