HAPPY NEW YEAR TO OUR RESIDENTS!
Arizona is the ideal spot to ring in the New Year, and this is the perfect place to
welcome our newest residents. We’re glad you’ve joined our long-time friends in
calling our community home. You can count on us to provide you with professional
management and prompt, friendly service. We wish you a happy, healthy, and
prosperous New Year!
WARM AND COZY
Stay warm and cozy in the comfort of your home simply by renewing your lease.
If your current lease term is coming to an end, be sure to call or stop by the leasing
office. Our staff will be glad to help you choose your best renewal option. We never
want you to be left out in the cold.
M BLIZZARD OF SERVICES M
It’s a blizzard out there—a blizzard of services, that is. At our community, the forecast
calls for a flurry of convenient resident services like these: • package acceptance
• outgoing mail drop • faxes • copies • free air filters • free pest control • stamps to
purchase. We hope you’ll take advantage of everything our community offers.
' WINTER WARM-UP
January 19 • 9–11 a.m. • in the Office
At this time of year, all it takes to warm up those crisp January days is a hot cup of
coffee and some friendly company. Your winter warm-up is awaiting you, so come
on over and join your friends and neighbors. We’ll keep the coffee hot and the
donuts fresh for the best residents in town!
SLIPPERY SLOPE
Storing personal property on patios and balconies is a slippery slope that can lead
to lease violations. Please remember that your patio or balcony must be kept clean
and clutter free. Only outdoor furniture and furnishings are permitted in these areas.
Thanks for removing all holiday decorations at this time.

It’s a new year and you’ve
resolved to work out more, but
you’re not sure where to start.
One of the easiest exercises
for overall health is walking. All
you need is a good pair of shoes
and comfortable clothing.
Start out slowly, with short,
five- to 10-minute walks every
day for a week. As it gets
easier, add five minutes to
your routine each week until
you are walking for 30 to 60
minutes most days of the week.
To prevent injuries, warm up by
walking in place, then stretch your
muscles both before and after
walking. Be sure to drink plenty
of water.
The hardest part of a fitness
program is sticking with it. To
stay motivated, make it fun.
Walk with a friend, vary your
route, or listen to music.
Arizona has plenty of hiking
trails for any fitness level. So
step out there and walk your
way to a fitter you!
Glendale Glitter & Glow Block Party

light display concludes with a rockin’ block
party on Jan. 12, from 4–10 p.m., with fun for
the whole family.

once to create an illuminating spectacle.
The dazzling scene of glowing colors
and twinkling lights, combined with musical
performances and delicious food and beverages,
is a feast for the senses. Stroll along the closed
downtown streets and enjoy more than a dozen
bands performing rock, blues, reggae, country,

GETTING THE DRIFT
Just like a snowfall blankets the earth with
peace and quiet, we have the same goal when
it comes to noise in our community. Let’s put
the deep freeze on the volume from televisions,
sound systems, voices, etc. Please keep all
noise contained within your home or vehicle.
Thanks for getting our drift!

PLOWING THROUGH
At our community, you won’t have to plow
through piles of parking policies. Here are a
few simple reminders: • drive slowly • park in
authorized spaces only • keep prospective
resident parking, handicap spaces, and fire
lanes (red curbs) open for designated vehicles
• display a current license plate and tag
• keep your vehicle in operating condition.
