Reader: Come, Holy Spirt! Ignite our hearts on fire with joy and
confidence. Fill us with the power of rushing wind that we
may faithfully serve you in all that we do.
People: For God has done wondrous things for us. God
brought Christ to earth to call each of us and bless us.
Reader: Come Holy Spirit! Be with us today!
People: Help us to boldly proclaim Christ the Risen Lord.

8:15— Madhuri Sakrudkar
10:45— Josey Dombach
Today we feel the wind beneath our wings. Today the
hidden fountain flows and plays. Today the church draws
breath at last and sings as every flame becomes tongues of
praise. This is the feast of fire, air, and water poured out and
breathed into the earth. The right words come today in their
right order and every word spells freedom and release. Today
the lost are found in His translation, whose mother-tongue is
Love, in every nation. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give

we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

When the Spirit Comes
8:15– Lexy Campbell
10:45– Alexa Day
Before the Spirit came, you were just words on a page,
Black on white and yellowed with age.
Simply a story of long ago,
Of a man who had so much love to show;
Who healed the sick and cured the lame;
Took our guilt and bore our shame.
It sounded so good, but it just couldn't last.
It was not for today but locked in the past.
Until the Spirit came.
Now the Spirit has come, you are here at my side,
Larger than life and ready to guide;
Making real to me all that you said,
And doing through me the things that I read.
I am the glove that your hand has filled;
I am the cup into which you have spilled
All the love and the power which you promised would come,
Right now in the present and for everyone.
Since the Spirit came.

Church's scholarships each year for the past 4 years of seminary. We want

EQUIPPING THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH TO DO JUSTICE IN JESUS’
NAME—May 22, 2016. When you give on Peace with Justice Sunday,
your gift makes possible our critical kingdom work in the world. Because
you give Methodists spearhead a peace ministry uniting Arizona border
communities, Methodists in Liberia are being quipped to implement the
denomination's Social Principles to address social-justice issues, and
Pennsylvania students are educating their community about sex-trafficking
at home and abroad. These initiatives and hundreds like them, are
possible because you give. Be prepared for this special offering on May 22.
