The most important change to the
MVD has been the addition of the
inlet accelerator bushing. This
bushing has allowed the user to
plug up to 8 outlets. By installing the accelerator bushing in the inlet
of the MVD it will provide an excellent distribution at both low and high rates. Below is the chart for
determining which accelerator bushing is required.

Continental NH3 Products is proud to introduce the all
new A-BWS-6, 6 outlet flow divider. The revolutionary
design uses the Bernoulli style principle to separate the
liquid and the vapor as it enters the unit pulling the
vapor particles into a separate upper chamber while
the liquid particles continue straight into the lower
chamber. There they exit into the 6 different outlets
where we channel the vapor back into the liquid at the
outlet adaptor giving us an even distribution to all of the
manifolds. This new design gives us the ability to shut
down various outlets at any given time and still maintain
even distribution of the ammonia.

Sprayer
The IntelliAg™ sprayer control system (LIQIV) is
designed with features tailored specifically for selfpropelled liquid sprayers. The control system can use
either pressure sensor or flow meter feedback of liquid
flow rate and works with a wide range of liquid servo
control valves or hydraulic control valves. It includes 4
channels of liquid control and inputs for auxiliary
sensors such as liquid pressure, shaft RPM and 7 boom
shutoff inputs.
The boom output module is required for control of boom
shutoff section valves.

AutoSwath Control
DICKEY-john announces the addition of AutoSwath
Control, an automated row shutoff system, to its existing
family of precision ag technology. Reduction in planting
overlap is the key element this technology provides that
directly impacts cost savings to the farmer by eliminating
wasted seed and optimizing yields. The Swath Control
system when used with the IntelliAg system, also offered
by DICKEY-john, automatically enables and disables
individual planter sections utilizing a GPS signal as
previously planted areas are approached.
The AutoSwath Control system has a dedicated terminal
that displays field coverage maps for real-time viewing
of the planting operation without interruption of
application rate and seed monitoring information. The
AutoSwath terminal is a full-color display for easy
identification of external boundaries, areas planted,
and areas left to plant. A manual feature allows the
operator to manually override planter sections in the
event of a lost GPS signal or in special conditions. A
Run In Overlap feature lets the operator set a delay for
section shut off when a planted area is crossed. A Run
Out Overlap feature turns sections on before reaching
a non-planted area.

The CONB-9500 Super Flow
Meter is designed for applications desiring large tool bars
and high capacity NH3 output. The
B-9500 features a unique straight-bore flow with virtually
no restriction. Other features include a new rotary actuator, single dial setting calibrated in pounds N per hour,
heat treated, durable, lightweight aluminum body, universal
mounting bracket (adaptable to most meter stands), available in 1” FPT or 1¼” MPT inlet.
Note: The B-9500 is calibrated with Continental fittings at
100# tank pressure with 12’ 1¼” hose, hose line valve and
1¼” quick disconnect coupler.

Raven SmartBoom
Raven’s SmartBoom is a simple “stand
alone” automatic boom section
control system that plugs into
Raven SCS consoles. SmartBoom
does not require a field computer
and offers automatic boom
section control for up to ten boom sections. This allows
the operator to use a more cost effective method to
reduce chemical and fertilizer costs.
The SmartBoom system consists of the following three
components, which are required for a complete system:
• SmartBoom controller

NH3 Breakaway
Flo-Max Couplers are designed to safely disconnect
the nurse tank hose from any tool bar in the event of a
pull-away, a nurse tank roll-over, or any occurrence
that would cause the nurse tank hose to become taut.
When the Flo-Max Coupler disconnects, two swing
checks close immediately. The inlet swing check,
located on the male half of the coupler, remains with
the nurse tank hose and prevents the nurse tank from
releasing NH3. The outlet swing check remains with the
tool bar preventing a release of NH3 from all piping or
vessels located on the tool bar.

CONA215-L Hose End Valve Assemblies
CONA2600
Continental Hose End Valves are factory assembled
and tested for use in transfer hose assemblies for both
liquid and vapor service. These valve assemblies are a
combination of Continental’s rugged ductile iron high
flow angle or globe valves, full flow 1¾” Acme thread
couplings, either standard length or safety extension
and A-411 stainless steel bleeder valve with the exclusive
anti-flash seal ring.
Globe & Angle Valves - NH3 & LPG ¾” through 1” Sizes
Maximum flow efficiency makes the “Max-Flow” valves
ideal for use on nurse tank and field storage tanks.
Rugged ductile iron comprises the valve bodies which
come with ¼” NPT port to allow for installation of an
accessory. Long, trouble-free, service is assured by a
precision ground stainless steel stem, Teflon “V” packing
and a field-proven swivel poppet with nylon seat.

Internal valves are installed in the inlets/

Flanged Internal Valves
Flanged valves provide a sturdy and compact
means of directly mounting a pump or piping
connection. Special break-away stud bolts are
furnished with the valves to permit the pump or
piping to shear off in the event of an accident,
leaving the valve intact.
All flanged valves have an internal screen for
pump protection that can be easily removed if the
valve is used primarily for filling the tank.

Internal Valve Accessories
Cable Controls and accessories can be furnished
to remotely open and close all threaded or flanged
internal valves up to 3”. A fusible link must
be incorporated to allow the valves
operating lever to return to
the closed position in the
case of exposure to a fire.
Latch / Remote Release Mechanisms
can be fitted to all Internal Valves, with the exception
of the 3” flanged size. When the valve’s
operating lever is moved to the open position,
the lever can be latched in place. The
lever can then be released from a remote
location by pulling a cable attached to a
pull ring, thus closing the internal valve.
A built-in fusible element in the latch/
release allows the valves operating
lever to return to the closed position in
case of exposure to a fire.

Pneumatic Operated Cylinders
Can be fitted on all Internal Valves that permits
the valve to be opened and closed from a remote
location using air, nitrogen or carbon dioxide.
When pressure is applied to the cylinder, it moves
the cylinder rod and internal valve operating lever to
the open position. Upon loss of pressure, the valves
operating lever returns to the closed position.

Emergency Shut-off Valves (ESVs)
Designed for in-line installations, usually near a
bulkhead. The valves provide means of shutting
off gas in the event of a hose rupture or piping
break at the transfer area to avoid a large scale
loss of NH3.
The valves can be manually opened or closed at
the installed location or closed remotely by either
cable or pneumatic control such as air or nitrogen.
The valves also incorporate a fusible element
stopping the flow when exposed to fire, even if the
operating lever has been forced in open position.

Designed for railcar protection, this pneumatically
operated valve is opened and closed by means of
a standard quick-disconnect coupling. Depending
on pressure in the tank car, approximately 20 to
60 psig is required to open the valve.
The N562 has a female coupling allowing
application flexibility as nipple lengths are
field selectable based on a specific application
requirements. Typically three of the valves are
used, two on liquid lines and one on the vapor
line.

Tank Valves have a new design that incorporates a
stainless steel cap that completely covers the handwheel
assembly, making it virtually impossible to steal
ammonia from the tank. In addition, this valve allows
standard 1¼” withdrawal connections to achieve flow
increases of 17% or better. (Equivalent to existing 1½”
tank valves).
Also available is a dual purpose cap hanger adaptor.
This device allows a convenient storage place for the

Plug Lock
The CONTINENTAL NH3 Plug-Lock is designed to
deter and befuddle the most persistent thief. The free
spinning, hardened shroud makes removal by wrench
or hammer nearly impossible. The unique key pattern
grants access only to the owner of the key.
There are no external parts that can be cut with bolt
cutters. The plug-lock easily inserts and removes from
the special ACME adaptor (supplied at no additional
cost).

Excess Flow Valves
These valves are designed to close when liquid flow
exceeds the valve’s setting. They are intended to prevent
large discharges of NH3 to the atmosphere due to a
break in the hose or piping system. Caution: Excess
flow valves close only when restrictions down stream of
the valve do exceed the flow rating of the valve.
WARNING! A break or lead downstream of an excess flow valve that does not allow a flow equal to
the valve flow rating will not actuate the valve and
could cause a hazardous condition. For this reason,
system operator should be familiar with the shutoff
valves in the system so that necessary precautions
can be taken in an emergency.

Fisher G200 Series Back Check Valves
Back Check Valves
Allows flow in only one direction and are normally
closed. They are installed in liquid filling connections
on stationary storage tanks, bobtail delivery trucks
and liquid transfer lines. The valves are frequently
used in conjunction with globe, angle and ball valves
as well as large single-check valves.
Specifically intended for heavy-duty in-line service at
the bulk plant’s transfer area. Soft seat construction
gives tight shutoff for maintenance, while body design
reduces flow resistance improving flow capacity. The
G201 has a built-in flow indicator, which can be
used to replace sight flow indicators.

The 6300 Series Magnetel liquid level gauges are
designed to accurately determine the percentage of
tank volume for most liquids in stationary storage
applications.
Model 6339 incorporates a 4” dial and is designed
for side, end or angle mounting while the 6342 Model
incorporates an 8” dial. The gauges are designed for
working pressures ranging from atmospheric to 450
psig and are available for 76” to 129” diameter tanks.
Squibb MasterTM
Model Liquid Level Gauges
Both the 4607A and 4607B float gauges feature a
large 10” hermetically sealed dial face with a chrome
retainer. The gauges mount on either end or side of the
stationary storage tank, while top mounting is available
on special order.
The 6300 Series Magnetel Rough Rider liquid level
gauges are designed to withstand the vibration and
shock inherent in mobile service. Their service life in
over-the-road and off-road transports is unsurpassed
while accurately determining the percentage of tank
volume.
The Magnetel Rough Rider gauges are to be
installed in the side or end of the mobile tank at the
centerline.

GAUGES
Squibb “Senior” Gauges
Designed primarily for applicator and
nurse tanks, “Senior” float gauges can be
mounted on the top, end, side or at a 45
degree angle. The gauges are available
for tanks up to 72 inches in diameter.
Rotary Gauges
Fisher Rotary Gauges can be used on stationary or
mobile tanks to visually indicate the amount of LPGas or NH3 in the container. They are also used
in filling the tank to the proper liquid level. In some
applications, hangers are recommended to support
the horizontal length of the dip tube. Type J31 is
designed for heavy duty use by utilizing a long stem
tube extension, minimizing vibration effects.

Rochester Float Gauges
Magnetic liquid level float gauges provide a visual
indication of the amount of liquid in a tank. The
gauges consist of a float that contacts the liquid, which
moves a gear and linkage mechanism attached to a
powerful magnet near the dial head. This provides
an invisible magnetic coupling through a solid head
to the companion magnet connected to the pointer
on the dial. As the float moves, the pointer reflects
the liquid level. The design also insures that a dial
can be quickly removed and replaced without loss of
product eliminating costly downtime.
Shipped with “Visi-Gard” plastic cover which
protects the dial face during shipment and acts
as a mask when painting the tank.
Features include the Plexiglas dial lens,
the gauge head and gears are die cast
aluminum and the float is carbon steel,
all providing increased durability.
Squibb “Visible 4” Gauges
The same quality construction as
the “Senior“ gauge. These units
have the added benefit of a 4” dial
calibrated in one degree increments
to provide an exact reading of the
NH3 liquid level.

The RSD system is designed to comply with DOT requirements for off-truck, remote shutdown
capabilities for transport trucks. In the event of an unintentional product release, the operator
may remotely kill the vehicle engine and close the internal valve, using a handheld, wireless
transmitter. When a button is pressed on the transmitter, the transmitter sends an encoded
32-bit ID number and commands to the receiver. Only receivers that have that transmitter’s

System Overview
A wireless handheld controller for delivery trucks. Intrinsically
safe transmitter allows hose-end control of any or all product
transfer operations, greatly increasing safety and productivity.
Remotely open and close valve(s), start and stop cargo pump,
operate hose reel and adjust engine RPM. Emergency feature

System Overview
An automatic leak detection and shutdown system designed by
professional engineers specifically for LPG and Anhydrous
Ammonia bulk transfer. Intrinsically safe unit continually monitors
the offloading process for “rate of change” parameters signifying
broken or damaged hoses, fittings and piping. A leak is instantly
detected and stopped by the closure of the tank internal valve(s).
The truck’s engine can also be stopped and PTO disengaged if
desired. This system automatically activates at the end of each
load. This ensures that the system is fully operational and helps
reduce the possibility of a damaged cargo pump due to product
running out. This unit also “fails safe” and closes the internal valve
with a loss of power or the release of the trailer parking brakes.
An optional “Attendance Timer” is available. This query feature
stops the offloading process if the operator fails to press the “GO”
button within a five minute window. A 30 second warning will
sound followed by delivery shutdown. This feature helps ensure
operator attendance during the loading/offloading process.

The THERMAFLOW assembly is designed to cool and
filter the oil required to operate the hydraulic system.
The oil is cooled by forcing air across cooling fins on
the heat exchanger. This system utilizes either an electric
or hydraulic fan motor to force air across the fins.
Stainless steel construction ensures long life and good
looks. Heavy duty shock mounts are supplied standard,
to isolate road vibration. The entire front panel quickly
removes to allow easy access to all parts. A unique
filter design allows replacement from top of unit, rather
than the bottom, preventing oil spillage and unneccesary
mess.
The SS600 will drive most 3” & 4” product pumps and
compressors, with options for multi-pump applications.

Warranty
Tru-Kare accepts cash, cheque, Visa and MasterCard.
Visa and MasterCard payments are due upon receipt
of invoice. Sales to approved charge accounts are due
net 30 days from date of invoice and must be paid by
cash or cheque. If charge account payment is received
by Visa or MasterCard, a 2% service charge recovery
fee may be added to the invoice. A service charge of
2% per month will be charged on all overdue accounts.
All products sold by Tru-Kare are covered by the
warranties expressed by individual manufacturers. TruKare offers no warranty beyond the manufacturers and
assumes no liability for consequential damages.
Purchaser accepts these terms and warranty limitations
before using any products.
Shipping
We ship by common courier and standard trucking
companies. We do not ship via Parcel Post. We will do
out best to ship orders received by 1:00 PM on the day
the order was placed. Our shipments are carefully
packed and inspected by the freight company prior to
shipping. It is the receiver’s responsibility to check all
shipments immediately for damage or shortages. It is
the receiver’s responsibility to report any damage or
shortages to the freight company and Tru-Kare within
24 hours after receipt of shipment.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice and
applicable taxes are extra. Quotations are made for
immediate acceptance unless otherwise stated. Please
phone to verify pricing as foreign exchange and volatile
raw material costs may change product pricing.
Returns
No returns are accepted after 30 days. No returns are
accepted for any reason without prior approval and a
valid Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number
issued from a Tru-Kare employee. If you receive
authorization for a return, an applicable restocking
charge will apply to recover the entire cost of the return.
Item must be returned freight prepaid and a copy of the
original invoice must accompany the shipment. Special
orders are not returnable.

Take Highway #2 to Highway #12 off-ramp (exit #422A) heading East towards Lacombe. Travel approx.
1km and turn at first right at the top of the hill (will see Thompson ditching sign in ditch). Go no mare than
50ft and turn right again and follow the service road back West along Highway #12 for 2.7km and enter
through our gate (right after Lacombe Trailer Sales). You will see a number of tankers in our yard.
Driving directions from the East
Stay on Highway #12 through Lacombe (past the Petro Can Station on your left) until you come to a sign on
your right (JC Welding). Turn left there and go no mare than 50ft and turn right again and follow the service
road back West along Highway #12 for 2.7km and enter through our gate (right after Lacombe Trailer
