The footwear components are sourced globally to ensure we have the best possible soling materials, elastics, steel toe
caps, footbeds and all other componentry available to manufacture a high quality product. The cow leather we use is
made from premium raw hides sourced from USA and New Zealand in order to meet the stringent quality specifications
that we insist upon.
We manufacture our leather footwear overseas with current sourcing from Vietnam, India and China. Our overseas
factories are premium quality, high end operations that are environmentally and socially responsible. These facilities
are also accredited to ISO 9001:2008. The jobs in these factories are highly sought after in the area the factories are in
and the staff are highly valued. We also engage our own personnel at the overseas facilities to ensure the standard of
manufacturing is consistent with our stringent quality requirements. All safety styles are certified to the appropriate

System (SPS) in 1999. Since then we have further engineered and improved the performance of our soles with the
addition of PORON® XRD™ in our SPS MAX comfort system.

PORON® XRD™ absorbs up to 90% of the energy impacted upon it, surpassing the performance of competitive impact
absorption materials. Blundstone was the first footwear company in Australasia to use the revolutionary PORON® XRD™
material in our underfoot comfort system, providing the wearer with a new level of underfoot protection and comfort.
Blundstone’s sole construction together with SPS MAX directly reduces workplace fatigue and orthopaedic problems in
the lower back, legs and feet.

It doesn’t stop there. All Blundstone footwear incorporates a comfortable footbed to cushion and nurture the foot.
We have a range of footbeds on offer, but our ultimate Comfort Arch footbed is made from soft shock absorbing
polyurethane, covered with a full length cushion of foam polyurethane and topped by a hard wearing mesh cover. This
footbed also includes a large pad of PORON® XRD™ under the ball of the foot with an airflow and moisture wicking system.
Blundstone’s boots are engineered to provide the wearer with a comfortable experience and it’s not just us that think it.
The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance program recognises products which have been
found to be beneficial to foot health. The seal is only awarded after careful scientific evaluation to determine if the product
allows normal foot function and promotes quality foot health. A number of our premium XFoot TPU and XFoot Rubber
products have been stringently tested and awarded the seal.
The Blundstone boots we produce today are just as tough as they’ve always been, but now they’re a lot more comfortable too.

HAZARD RESISTANCE
Footwear and electrical conductivity properties
When it comes to categorising safety footwear from an electrical
conductivity perspective, there are three general classifications –
insulating (also known as electrical hazard, non-conductive or electrical
shock resistant), anti-static footwear and conductive footwear.
Electricity can be a serious workplace hazard. Most people are aware
of this and treat it with due respect. But it’s the invisible hazard that is
not typically obvious, such as on a construction site where temporary
electrical cables can be severed or exposed that can be a real danger.
To help protect workers against such threats, many safety work boots
are expressly designed to insulate the wearer from exposed electricity.
These types of footwear are standard attire for electrical tradespeople,
but workers in other trades and occupations are becoming increasingly
more conscious of the need for this protection.
As the name suggests, electrical hazard footwear provides the greatest
potential protection against electrical hazards. Blundstone test for
Electrical Shock Resistance (ESR) against ASTM F2413-11. Product is
tested at 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for one minute, with no current flow or
leakage current in excess of 1.0mA under dry conditions.
Important to note electrical hazard protection is severely deteriorated
in the following conditions: excessive wear on the outsole and heel or
exposure to wet and humid environments or both.
Anti-static footwear provides a level of protection against electrical
hazard situations (wall sockets not high voltage) but not as great as
electrical hazard footwear.
Conductive footwear provides no protection against electrical shock.

30 DAY COMFORT GUARANTEE
Blundstone’s unique fit is designed to deliver the optimum comfort for the wearer. That’s why we provide a 30
day comfort guarantee on all our footwear. Try a pair of correctly fitted Blundstone footwear for up to 30 days
from the date of purchase from one of our approved resellers and if the footwear is not comfortable you may
return it. To make a claim under this guarantee, you must return the footwear (at your own cost) to the place
of purchase, along with your original purchase receipt within 30 days from the date of purchase. Provided the
footwear is not damaged, and you otherwise comply with the terms prescribed by this guarantee, you may
choose between a full refund or a footwear exchange up to the original purchase price of the footwear as set
out on the purchase receipt. Applicable for Australia and New Zealand only, styles 325 and 330 excluded.
2 YEAR EXTENDED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
We take great care in the manufacture of our products. If you believe the footwear you have purchased
from one of our approved resellers contains a manufacturing fault, and wish to make a claim under this
warranty, you must return the footwear (at your own cost) to the place of purchase for assessment together
with your original purchase receipt within 2 years from the date of purchase. If, following such assessment,
we determine that the footwear contains a manufacturing fault that renders the product unsuitable for the
purpose for which it was originally purchased, we will replace the footwear or repair it at our expense.
This warranty is void if you use or have used the footwear in a way which causes or has caused damage
to them beyond normal wear and tear. This includes, without limitation, exposing the product to caustic
materials that may cause the materials in it to break down. Applicable for Australia and New Zealand only.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the
goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Any benefits
you receive under our ‘30 Day Comfort Guarantee’ and our ‘2 Year Extended Manufacturer’s Warranty’ are in addition to other rights
and remedies that you may have as a consumer under a law in relation to the footwear to which these warranties relate.
Due to rapid movements in technology and component availability, Blundstone reserves the right to change or withdraw products without notice.
