Arrive in Nairobi and be transferred to your luxury hotel. In Nairobi, visit the Karen
Blixen Museum from the “Out of Africa” motion picture, have a private visit to the David
Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and feed the Rothchild giraffes at Giraffe Centre.

Journey to Amboseli, where no doubt the elephants are kings of the park and can be
seen in big numbers and are considered to be amongst the biggest in the country. A
large resident population of wildebeest along with zebras, gazelles, buffalos, and many
other wildlife can be seen here as well. Amboseli is also home to over 400 species
of birds some of which are flamingo, kingfisher, secretary bird, cattle egret, and the
Egyptian goose.
We will also have an opportunity to visit the Cynthia Moss Elephant Research Base and

This morning drive to Ngorongoro where we will visit Olduvai Gorge enroute, an
ancient homind archaeological site, located in the Great Rift Valley. The excavations
by Louis and Mary Leakey in the mid-1950’s were important because they established
the African origin of humankind. Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most fascinating
wildlife spectacles, is 12 miles in diameter caldera and harbors many species of
animals including the elusive black rhino. Enjoy lunch in the crater floor during the
game viewing drive. Return to Arusha to board your flight back home or your next
destination.

Fly to Cape Town. Take a city tour to see Government Avenue, the National Gallery, the
South Africa Museum, Houses of Parliament, and the City Hall. Ride a cable car up to
Table Mountain and witness the majestic views of Table Bay, Robben Island, the Atlantic
Seaboard, and most of the Cape Peninsula.
Head through the suburbs of Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay before continuing to
the fishing harbor of Hout Bay. Wander Chapman’s Peak and the Cape of Good Hope
Nature Reserve. Ride the funicular to the lighthouse to see the convergence of the Atlantic
and Indian Oceans. Visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguins, the naval base at
Simonstown, and the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.

Namibia’s past is as diverse as its landscapes. Its name derives from the Namib Desert,
the world’s most ancient desert which stretches 2000 km from the Orange River in the
South to the Kunene in the North. This is a land of many faces including the shifting
dunes, the flat plains and the sandy riverbeds of the desert region. While Namibia is
the most sparsely populated country in the world, it boasts a rich blend of 13 different
ethnic groups.

Okonjima lies nestled within the unspoiled beauty of the Onboroko Mountains. It is a
non-profit organization committed to conservation of Namibia’s large carnivores. Feel
free to stroll around the garden, where you may encounter a variety of animals, which
have been rescued by the Afri-Cat Foundation. Get in touch with nature on one of the
numerous walking Bushman trails, where you will learn how they adapt and survive in a

Depart Casablanca for Fes via overland transportation with sightseeing en route in
Rabat, the political capital of Morocco and the fourth of the Imperial cities. Visit the old
Medina, the Kasbah and Ooudayas Gate, the Estuary facing the Barbary Coast. Drive
on through the cork tress to tour Meknes, the third of the Imperial Cities; Moulay Idriss,
the Holy City and center of pilgrimage; and Volubilis with its imposing Roman ruins. Visit
the Olive press, the House of Orpheus, the Basilica, the Baths of Gallienus, the Forum,
the Triumphal Arch of Caracalla, the House of Venus.
In Fes, a two thousand year old Imperial City, you will walk the labyrinth of the ancient
and amazing Fes Medina and Mellah. See the Kairaouine Mosque, the Bou Inania
Mosque, the colorful es Sabbaghine with its Street of Dyers, the al Quarawiyyin Mosque

Depart Fes to drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Immouzzer, the hills station of
Ifrane and the lake district of Azrou before arriving in Marrakech. In Marrakech visit the
Menara Gardens the Museum of Islamic Art, the Saadien Tombs, the Badi Palace, the
Bahia Palace nd Almoravid Dynasty Koubba. Visit the Marrakech Museum of Art and

to offer. Plan to visit Denmark, Sweden and or Finland. Travel by plane, car, ferry

weather may be preferred in the summer, there is adventure to be enjoyed in the
winter as well.
Your adventure may begin or end at any given point but might well begin in
Helsinki, Finland where you will see and visit Esplanade Park, Market Square,
Senate Square, Parliament, and a variety of museums. Copenhagen, Denmark is
a sophisticated capital city that offers some of the most magical sightseeing.
Here you will see the Little Mermaid, the Royal Palace and visit Rosenborg Castle
and Tivoli Gardens. From Copenhagen you can visit North Sealand and Viking
Land.
Take the ferry to Stockholm, Sweden where you will visit the Vasa Museum, the
Royal Palace, the Gamla Stan and the Skansen Open-Air Museum. You might
venture from the capital to Gothenburg and Malmö. Continue on to Norway and

Mongolia
For Those Who Love Adventure
One of the few remaining truly unique places on earth is Mongolia. For those
who love the outdoors and some adventure this is the destination for you and
Lakani World Tours can customize an itinerary that will include a visit to the
steppes of central Asia.
Begin your adventure in Beijing, China where you will stop prior to your flight to
Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia. As soon as you arrive in Mongolia you will know that
you are some place special that few people make the effort to visit. You will tour
the capital of Mongolia where you will learn the history of the country before
leaving for the famous and exotic Gobi Desert. Considered one of the harshest
environments on earth, with extreme temperature and seasonal changes, the Gobi
is surprisingly full of wildlife. You may see gazelles, hulan, wild camels, antelope,
argali sheep (largest on the planet), wild goats and the endangered Gobi bear
– Mazaalai. The majority of Mongolia’s population of Bactrian camels live in this
area and you will have an opportunity to ride one.
There is plenty to see and do depending on the amount of time you have
including:
•Visit Bayan Zag, the Flaming Cliffs, to explore the Gobi “Cemetery of
Dinosaurs”. The area is most famous for the first-known discovery of dinosaur
eggs. Petrified forests and remains of mammals, including the largest known
mammal in the world, hornless rhinoceros, are also found here. Hike at the
Moltsog sand dunes before spending a night in a ger.
•Visit the Yol Valley National Park with its stunning scenery and intriguing
wildlife. Here you will visit a camel breeder camp. At Terelj National Park, a
nature sanctuary, you will have an opportunity to visit Turtle Rock and meet
some of the local people.
•Visit Karakorum, situated on the banks of river Orkhon, was the site of the
imperial capital chosen by Chinghis Khan in 1220. The city, capital of the
largest land empire the world has ever known, served as a supply point for
the Mongol armies and was a cosmopolitan and multi-cultural place in its time.
The nearby Erdene Zuu Monastery was the first Buddhist monastery built in
Mongolia.
•Visit a horse-breeder’s camp to explore the lifestyle of nomads, see the making
of airag (the Mongolian traditional drink of fermented mare’s milk) and a
horseback riding opportunity on Mongolian wooden saddles.
•Visit during Mongolia’s National Naadam Festival, if your travel dates allow, to
see the displays of horsemanship, archery and wrestling.
EASTER ISLAND
Amazing Wonders
Easter Island is a magical mysterious place located in a remote area in the southeastern
Pacific Ocean some 2,300 miles west of South America. A Chilean territory, Easter
Island is a volcanic island known for its intriguing archaeological sites. There are
approximately 900 monumental statues, called moai, created by the early Rapa Nui
inhabitants during the 10th-16th centuries. In 1995 UNESCO named Easter Island a
World Heritage Site, with much of the island protected within Rapa Nui National Park.
The moai are carved figures with oversized heads, often resting on massive rock altars.
Polynesian people most likely settled on Easter Island sometime between 700 to
1100 AD, and created a thriving and industrious culture as evidenced by the island’s
numerous enormous stone moai and other artifacts. By the time of European arrival in
1722, the island’s population had dropped to 2,000–3,000 from an estimated high of
approximately 15,000 just a century earlier. European diseases and Peruvian slave
raiding in the 1860s further reduced the Rapa Nui population, to a very low number of
inhabitants in 1877.
Begin your exploration with a stop at Rano Kao, one of three extinct volcanoes on the
island whose crater is pocked with over 100 small lakes. Rano Kao was the second of
the three volcanoes to erupt about 2.5 million years ago. Growing inside the crater are
grapes, bananas, and totora, a reed used extensively for houses, boats and other uses.
Visit Rano Raraku, one of the most interesting archaeological sites not only on Easter
Island but also in the entire world. Here you can find 396 moai in the quarry, which is
an extinct volcano that has an amazing fresh water crater. Some of the statues are still
encrusted in the rock of the quarry, never to be moved. Others are in a process of getting
their backs finalized and highlighted and some are in the “staging area” waiting for the
moving crew to bring the moai to its destined ahu. You will also see the largest moai
ever carved, Te Tokanga or El Gigante, which measures a staggering 66 feet and weighs
an estimated 220 tons.
Continue your drive to Ahu Tongariki, one of the most visually stunning sites on the island.
Not only is Tongariki the largest reconstructed site on the island; it is also the largest
reconstructed temple in all of Polynesia. The site’s 15 moai were restored in the 1980’s
after a huge tsunami came ashore in 1960 and tossed 80-ton moai as far as 1500 feet
inland.
From the vantage point at Orongo, the curvature of the earth can be seen with an
unending vista of the ocean. Orongo was restored in 1974 by William Mulloy, who
reconstructed 47 houses, many of which had collapsed or had been torn down by
treasure hunters. He also established the first set of trails through the site.
Botswana Safaris
From Desert To Wetlands
Botswana, located in southwestern Africa, offers safari experiences unique to those
you might find in East Africa or even South Africa. On arrival into the country
through either Maun or Kasane, you will venture on to one or more of the safari
lodges located throughout the country. Lakani World Tours can assist you in finding
the perfect safari experience as you navigate Botswana’s diverse geography. From
the waters of the Okavango Delta to Chobe National Park, the Savute Channel to
the Kalahari Desert, your choices are endless.
•Okavango Delta - the world’s largest inland delta and one of Africa’s most
fascinating safari areas. Moving from wetland to dryland will showcase the
wonders of this unique ecosystem.
•Chobe National Park - has one of the largest game concentrations on
the African continent, and is best known for its spectacularly large elephant
population and close proximity to Victoria Falls.
•Savute Channel - is an area with high concentrations of elephant and lions, and
sightings of all the other major predators including the endangered wild
dog, leopard, cheetah and hyena. It is also known for excellent birding. This
area is home to some very rare rock paintings drawn by the early San
Bushmen.
•Kalahari Desert - is the ultimate remote safari destination. This arid region offers
good numbers of ostrich and giraffe, herds of wildebeest, excellent cheetah and
the Kalahari’s famous black-maned lions. Less easy to spot are the leopard and
brown hyena.
Experience a safari and view the game in these various areas by land, air and
water. This semi arid land is a year round destination offering stays in luxurious
accommodations in environments that range from wetland to desert. Whether
traveling alone, with a significant other, or with family or friends there will be plenty
to do and experience while in Botswana. Excellent rangers will share their world
with you as you see elephants, hippos, lions, etc. They will tell you about the flora
and fauna of the areas you visit. Enjoy sundowners before dinner, perhaps in a
traditional boma under the southern Africa skies.
Botswana is ideally suited to be done in conjunction with a trip to Victoria Falls with
additional safari options in Zambia; the beaches of Mozambique; Etosha National
Park, Damaraland and the Skeleton Coast of Namibia; and / or the cities, garden
route, winelands and safari options of South Africa.
GREECE
Historical, Cultural & Visual Splendor
A holiday in Greece will give the traveler an opportunity to visit the archaeological sites
of ancient Greek history from the Paleolithic Era to the Roman Period, experience the
city life of Athens and finish a tour in the lovely Greek islands. A tour of Greece will take
you on an educational adventure of ancient history with a strong impact on Western
civilization, and bring you fully into the here and now in cosmopolitan and sophisticated
Athens and the Greek Islands.
On the Greek mainland, visit Athens city center, Syntagma Square, the Temple of Zeus,

Acropolis. From Athens, venture to the Peloponnese and Delphi. Pass through the
Corinth Canal. Visit the Mycenae’s, and Nauplion, the first capital of Greece and a very

Time permitting, you may wish to visit the cradle of civilization of ancient Olympia. Or,
continue on to Kalambaka to visit the Meteora monasteries which are spectacularly
perched atop the rocky pinnacles in Thessaly. Or, Mount Olympus en route to
Thessaloniki.
Finish your vacation in Greece spending few days on one or more of the beautiful Greek
islands – most popular and most often visited are Santorini, Sifnos, Crete and Mykonos.

Reservations and Payments: Deposits and payments for our Select Tours for Independent
Travelers, and Custom Made Tours vary according to the individual itinerary. We may require a
non-refundable planning fee that will automatically be credited to your final payment. Final payment
is due no later than 90 days for journeys without trains and cruises. For journeys that include a train
or cruise, the final payment is due at least 120 days prior to departure. Payments may be made by
check, American Express, VISA or MasterCard. Payments for internal air requirements are subject to
the policies of the airlines involved and will be advised at the time of confirmation.
Custom Made and Private Jet Tours have their own terms and conditions. Please ask for details.
Holiday supplements may apply to the Select Tours for Independent Travelers.
Refunds & Cancellation Policy: All requests to cancel confirmed reservations must be received in
writing. Cancellation fees are applicable to land, cruise, rail, intra-tour air, single supplements and
extension of any extra services.

Lakani Tour price includes:
Hotels: Based on two people sharing a room in deluxe or best available hotels. Single supplements
apply for each journey for those requiring single accommodations and will be quoted at time of
booking. Lakani reserves the right to substitute hotels for those named in the brochure when
necessary.
Meals: Meals are included as indicated for each journey.
Sightseeing: All sightseeing shown in the itinerary with English speaking guide via deluxe airconditioned motorcoach where available or practical. Four-wheel drive vehicles may be used for
sightseeing or safaris in certain areas such as Africa, as indicated in the itinerary. Entrance fees are
included throughout.
Transfers: Individual arrival and departure transfers between airport and hotel to join and leave the
journey.
Luggage: Transportation and transfer of two medium suitcases, except where mandated by air
carriers. Overweight charges imposed by an airline will be borne by the traveler.
Medical Emergency Evacuation Insurance: $50,000 medical evacuation insurance in the event
that an injury or illness occurs during the course of a journey outside of the insured person’s home
country necessitates emergency evacuation of the insured traveler.
Port Taxes: All port taxes on cruise portions of itineraries
Lakani Tour price does not include: Air transportation and related fees (except as indicated in the
itinerary); airport taxes; passport and visa expenses; personal expenses, such as laundry, telephone
calls, and alcoholic beverages and any other items not specifically noted as included.
Travelers’ Responsibility: Lakani considers the Selected Tours for Independent Travelers and
Custom Made tours to be active. Travelers are responsible for assuring that they do not have any
physical or other condition that could endanger themselves. Some excursions may include long
walks and climbing stairs, and is sometimes an essential part of your journey. All travelers are
expected to be in good health. Riding in 4WD vehicles on rough terrain or unpaved paths can
aggravate back conditions. Flying aboard small aircraft is required in some areas. Please advise us
in writing of any health issues or limitations at the time of making your reservations. Lakani World
Tours reserves the right to right to decline to accept anyone on a journey.
Passports / Visas: You are responsible for obtaining any travel documents/visas and verifying
entry requirements necessary for each country of travel and/or transit on your selected journey.
Requirements vary with respect to each traveler’s citizenship. Lakani will not assume responsibilities
for notice of countries’ current requirements. You are responsible for any expenses incurred as a
result of the delays or itinerary changes related to your lack of appropriate travel documents. Lakani
will provide visa information applicable to your selected journey, however it is your responsibility to
obtain the necessary visas for the countries visited.
Unused Services: If you make any changes to any portion of your Selected Independent Journey
or Custom Made Tour after the departure, such changes will be completely at your own expense.
Refunds will not be paid for services provided in the journey prices not utilized by you.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited at group meals, on buses and during all group activities.
Guaranteed Departures: Lakani Tours are guaranteed when deposit has been accepted, except in
case of force majeure, which includes any event that impedes the operation of the itinerary or may
endanger travelers, and circumstances beyond the control of Lakani World Tours, among other things.
Private Jet tours are exempt from the guaranteed departures policy.
Airfares: All airfares are subject to change in accordance with airline tariffs and are subject to
currency fluctuations and/or fuel surcharges. Lakani World Tours shall not be responsible for air ticket
cancellation fees due to itinerary or departure changes or cancellations.
Airline Baggage Regulations: Each airline has its own rules regarding baggage allowance. Number,
size and weight limitations of suitcases can vary by airline, class of service and frequent flier status.
It is recommended that all travelers check with the individual airlines and/or their websites for up to
date information. Luggage exceeding the maximum restrictions is subject to expensive overage fees
or is at risk of being left behind. Luggage allowance may be restricted within a country by regional
airlines or air charter companies. Please refer to your final credentials for those restrictions. Lakani
World Tours cannot be held liable for fees or inconveniences imposed by the airlines.
Prices: Lakani Independent prices include planning, handling and operational charges, and are based
on current exchange rates, tariffs and taxes as of August 2015. Lakani World Tours reserves the right
to increase tour prices to cover increased costs after prices are published, and to reflect fluctuations
in foreign exchange markets. Lakani is under no obligation to provide a breakdown of costs involved
in any Independent , Custom Tour or Private Jet program.
Insurance: Lakani World Tours cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of
luggage or personal belongings, nor for personal injury, accident, or illness. Therefore, we strongly
suggest that you purchase LakaniCare Gold protection plan, which includes cancellation, delay and
baggage insurance in order to protect your travel investment. Information on the insurance program
will be sent to you at time of deposit. Insurance premium payments and refunds are subject to
policies of the insurance carrier. Lakani will only reimburse according to this cancellation policy.
We will not be responsible for any amounts not covered by or denied by the Travel Protection provider.
Health & Inoculations: Inoculation requirements and recommendations often change, therefore we
strongly recommend that you contact your personal physician, local Health Department, or the Center
for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia, and advise them of the international destinations you will be

Responsibility: Lakani World Tours and its employees, independent contractors and representatives
act only as agents in arranging hotels or lodging, transportation, ground handling, restaurants,
or other travel services and in no way shall be held liable in the event of failure by any person or
company to render services to travelers, nor shall they be held liable for any negligent or willful act
by any such person or company. Furthermore, neither Lakani World Travel Inc (DBA Lakani World
Tours) nor its employees, independent contractors or agents shall be held liable or responsible for any
injury, loss, death, or damage to personal property in connection with any goods or services provided,
resulting from force majeure, acts of God, civil unrest, acts of war, terrorist activities, labor strikes,
or mechanical failure of transport while traveling. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Lakani
World Tours reserves the right, without notice, to withdraw any or all parts of a tour and or to make
such changes as may be necessary. The extra cost, if any, for such changes will be the responsibility
of the traveler. In regard to credit card payments for travel services to Lakani World Tours, the
traveler (and or cardholder or cardholder’s authorized representative) will hold Lakani World Tours
and its employees, independent contractors or representatives harmless for any or all charge-backs
exercised by them or their credit card companies, originating from any complaints regarding travel
services or involving refund requests of monies paid when insurance was not purchased, or for any
reason whereby the traveler did not utilize any portion of the prepaid travel services, or any other
reasons whatsoever.
Arbitration Resolution: Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relating to, any services
arranged by Lakani World Tours shall be resolved solely by binding arbitration in Orange
County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Acceptance of initial travel services and payment of monies to Lakani World Tours will
constitute agreement by the traveler(s) of these Terms & Conditions.
California law requires sellers of travel to be bonded. Lakani World Tours is bonded through Great
American Insurance and is a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation,
TCRC fund.
Agreement: Your payment to Lakani World Tours constitutes your acceptance of the
aforementioned terms and conditions and the information stated in the pre-departure tour
documentation.
