Custom Homes.
For one thing, once it’s finished, it’s virtually
impossible to tell one of our homes from a
house that was built entirely on site. The basic
construction techniques are the same, the
materials are comparable or superior, and
components such as windows, doors and
cabinets are indistinguishable.
The difference is that CHIEF ® Custom Homes
are built in modules inside an environmentallycontrolled building and then shipped to the
job site where they are placed on a prepared
foundation or basement. The roof system is
secured in place as technicians make plumbing
and electrical connections and provide the final
on site finishing.

The Cape Cod design option is a great way to
maximize space for the same footprint of a traditional
modular home. A two-section home, with either
a 12’-0” or 16’-0” wide upper floor, the Cape Cod’s
upper level collar tie ceiling measures at 8’-0” giving

modest design, the optional dormers add both curb
