Main industries at the trade fair!
Flooring
Vakdagen Parket & Woninginrichter is known for its wide range of exhibitors
specialising in flooring, and this year will be no different!
Floors are the basis of every building, whether it’s an office building or a
residential home; the floor provides the basis for the entire interior design.
It sets the tone, but also has to meet many requirements!
In light of this, it is not surprising that this industry is constantly changing.
To reflect this at the fair, plenty of attention will be paid to new flooring
innovations. The trade fair floor as well as the knowledge programme
will provide plenty of opportunity to get inspired and increase your
knowledge about flooring. There will also be lots of demonstrations of
new and innovative production techniques which will open doors to new
flooring concepts.
There are so many different possibilities when it comes to flooring, and
Parket & Woninginrichter will try to reflect the wide variety of the industry
as best it can!
Being an exhibitor with us allows you to present your newest collection
as well as find new inspiration out on our trading floor.
And if you’ve got a new innovative flooring solution of your own that you
would like to demonstrate at the fair, that’s also possible!
Window
treatments
Window treatments serve a dual purpose. Firstly, they are intended
to block out light, but they also ensure a greater sense of privacy and
minimise noise pollution. In short, the adding of window treatments
is a crucial part of dressing up any space, and they really do have the
ability to set the tone of an entire room.
All types of window treatments will be featured at the fair, from
curtains to blinds and shutters.
Are you curious to learn more about the newest trends in window
treatments? Then attend the Vakdagen Parket & Woninginrichter and
find out all about it!
upholstery
The National Interior Upholstery Championship (‘NK woning stofferen’
or NKW in Dutch) is once again an important part of the fair that really
adds to the overall experience. Do you work in interior upholstery?
That means you are eligible for participation in the NCIU/NKW. It is
a wonderful opportunity to show off the variety and beauty of your
trade, and in the meantime vie for the national title!
Upholstering your house adds so much character! Whether you’re
putting down carpet or upholstering a chair, a space always feels much
more comfortable and cosy once it’s been properly upholstered.
Take this opportunity to show current trends and developments in the
upholstery market! Vakdagen Parket & Woninginrichter always pays
lots of attention to new developments in any field.
wall coverings
Plenty of attention will be paid to wall coverings at Parket & Woninginrichter this year.
Wall coverings are one of the basic elements that are absolutely essential
to furnishing a space.
There is an astounding variety of possibilities out there when it comes to
wall coverings these days. As such, this industry couldn’t possibly be left
out of the Vakdagen Parket & Woninginrichter.
All wall coverings which can be applied to bare interior walls count as wall
coverings, from wall paper to faux brick wall panels and fabrics. There is an
extremely wide variety of options out there.
As such, the Vakdagen Parket & Woninginrichter will pay plenty of attention
to new trends and developments in the industry.
Listen to the words of our past exhibitors!
After the 2015 fair, we asked several exhibitors about their experiences. Below is a small selection from the
many positive and enthusiastic responses we received. These responses are clear testaments that participating in the Vakdagen Parket & Woninginrichter is well worth your time and effort!
Koninklijke Peitsman
“This is such a joy. Look at our people going at it, don’t you just love it? The
Vakdagen are an excellent opportunity to display almost our entire Pleitsman range in an accessible fashion. No company representative could ever
do such justice to our entire product range.”
Unifloor
Frank Vousten of Unifloor thought the fair was a bit quiet this year. “But don’t
get me wrong, we’re very satisfied. The people that do show up are genuinely
interested in the products. I really don’t see why everyone doesn’t come to this
fair, considering it’s such a good way to connect to others in your industry.”
Tété total-flooring
“An amazing trade fair! It really exceeded all of our expectations. We usually
do at-home fairs, so this is the first time we’ve been to a big trade fair like
this. And we’re really enjoying it! We’ve gathered lots of new contact information.” Rikkink thinks the fair this year was very enjoyable. “We’ve had so
many people stop by and express their interest. This is a great opportunity
to put yourself out there, you’d be a fool not to.”
Headlam (Lethem Vergeer, Interplan, Silvester)
“A well-organised fair,” according to Marc Dubbeldam of Headlam (Lethem
Vergeer, Interplan, Silvester). “We had quite a big stand once again, maybe
only slightly smaller than last year, and we’ve had a busy time of it. I mean,
on Monday our seventeen sales representatives could hardly keep up with
the influx of customers.”
Roommade
Roommade signed up for the fair rather last minute but was successful
nonetheless: they took a very interactive approach. “We showed 84 PVC
samples and had visitors mark a maximum of ten of their favourites with
stickers,” Mano Demmers explains. “That way, you end up with about 30 to
35 floors, both dry back and click, which were preferred by the visitors, so
those are the ones that we’ll keep in stock in Asten.”
InterFloor
“We’ve done well so far. Yesterday our sales representatives handled 35
customers each. On a regular day out and about, a representative may come
in contact with 8 potential customers, if they’re lucky. That’s the main advantage of trade fairs like this one.” “When people leave here, I want them
to feel like Interfloor is doing a good job. Your collections are what set you
apart from the rest, and at the fair we have ample opportunity to show off
our constantly changing product range. Moreover, it’s a great atmosphere. I
think it’s safe to say that all specialists should attend this fair.”
PPC
“We had about twenty people manning our stand and were kept quite busy
throughout the day, had a lot of interested visitors. I’ve filled my notebook
right up!” says Martien Wildeman of the Plinten & Profielen Centrale from
Wijk bij Duurstede enthusiastically.
