Minutes of the previous POC was reviewed and used as the basis for this meeting.

Information Technology Center
ONLINE ENROLLMENT
1. Change of default payment mode to monthly payment
REPLY: In the Courses Configuration, you may set the default payment mode of each course in the Payment field. Please note that the default payment mode should exist in all
trimesters/terms of the course.
2. Online Enrollment. Change mode of payment even after the enrollment form has been submitted
REPLY: Currently this is not allowed. To allow the student to modify the mode of payment, the status of the student’s enrollment should be changed back to Pending
(done manually by the Registrar).
3. Advance-Enlistment with Reservation Fee. Is it possible to have a reservation fee during the advance enlistment period?
REPLY: You may put a reservation fee in the assessment but this fee can be only finalized when the period is already set as Open (Regular Enrollment). As an alternative, you
may use the pick details feature in the cashier module.
4. Other items that have NO feedback yet from LEDGEA:
• For No. 2: Can we add a message/warning upon submission of enrollment? (i.e., "Are you sure do you want to submit your enrollment? You CANNOT modify your
enrollment once it is submitted.")
• For No. 3: Is it possible to reserve the enlisted subjects in advance enlistment period using the reservation fee?

The PC for CCTV monitoring has already been acquired. Mr. Mercene will be meeting with Mr. Rex Lor for its implementation
The Brother President recommended a pro-active use of the CCTV to prevent unfortunate incidents instead of an evidence source after the incident. Mr.
Polanco suggested hiring full-time personnel just to man the CCTV.

STRUCTURED CABLING FOR VETMED
• Request for materials for additional WiFi for 4F and 6F was already forwarded to the purchasing thru MRF. We are waiting for recommendation/delivery.
NEW PC FOR COMPUTER LAB 609
• Compliance Checklist for 41 new PCs for Lab 609 is already on hand and for comment of Mr. Bermejo and Mr. Polanco
• It was noted that 41 old PCs from Lab 609 will be sent to the BED GS Lab. Of the 41 old PCs from BED GS Lab, 30 will be sent to the Salikneta Lab and the remaining
ones will replace old PCs inside in the main campus.
ONLINE VOTING/ONLINE FACULTY EVALUATION
• Online and LAN base are being prepared for the Feb 29 and March 3 mock elections
• Online faculty evaluation is also being prepared. Additional module for maintenance is needed to finalize the program for implementation.

i. Flyers. Preparations for additional flyers will be coordinated with Mr. Dalangin of Student Recruitment.
ii. Institutional Audiovisual Presentation (AVP). The first filming day (February 19) proceeded as planned. The film crew is currently interviewing certain
people. They will be going to Salikneta Farm after the interviews are finished today.
c. Concerned units/Lasallian partners whose participation in events brought pride and honor to the university must be communicated to the ICO for IB posting.
Advancement and Development Office
MAJOR DONORS
• MR. JOSEPH CALATA. Mr. Calata donated P2M last January 21. A simple check handing over ceremony was held at the Former President’s Office at DLSU Manila. The
donation of MR CALATA will be primarily used by the Agriculture students of Salikneta Farm.
OWN-A-TREE CAMPAIGN
• The total collections for the campaign has already amounted to P 343 100.00. We’re still calling all Lasallian Partners to contribute to this noble campaign.
SEED CAMPAIGN
• Brochures for the SEED campaign was given during the Grand Alumni Homecoming last January 30, 2016.
AKUBO TRAINING
• The Advancement Team of De La Salle Araneta University attended the training on Akubo at the Habitat for Humanity, Paseo de Roxas Makati City last February 10.
Akubo is a cloud-based platform to manage alumni relations, fundraising and sales, event registrations, memberships and email campaigns.
• The attendees were Ms. Amelita A. Ajoc of the Scholarship and Alumni Relations Office, Engr. Ricardo D. Mercene III of the Information Technnology Center, and Mr. Eijay
Valerio de Paz of the Advancement and Development Office.
ST. JAIME HILARIO INTEGRATED SCHOOL-LA SALLE FOUNDATION DAY
• University Chancellor Mr. Christopher N. Polanco, Executive Assistant to the President and the Advancement and Development Officer Mr. Eijay Valerio de Paz, and
Alumni Relations and External Linkages Officer Ms. Millet Ajoc have
attended the 10th Year Founding Anniversary of St. Jaime Hilario Integrated School – La Salle in Bagac, Bataan last Saturday, February 20.
• St. Jaime Hilario Integrated School – La Salle was founded last 2006 thru the efforts and perseverance of Br. Dodo Fernandez FSC, whose attention was called by
Archbishop Soc Villegas to put up a school in Bagac, Bataan. The De La Salle Brothers and partners from various Lasallian schools graced the occasion.

diff. schools.
3. Met with the committee members for the 69th Commencement Exercises last February 17 for the initial preparations.
4. Drafted the schedule of activities for the 69th Commencement Exercises for approval of the President, Chancellor and VCAR
5. Drafted the Proposed Schedule for AY 2016-2017 for presentation to the academic group.
6. Forwarded to the Deans and Program Chairs the request for submission of schedules for the May- August Term.

Interdisciplinary Research Forum held on February 22, 2016 at University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, Las Piñas City.

Dr. Enrique, Mr. Siatan, and Mr. Ocampo will be attending the DLSP initial meeting of Lasallian tertiary level institutions that offer programs or degrees in

 Ms. Adoracion Benedicto will be presenting her research paper entitled “The Biophysical and Socio-Economic Implications of Climate Change on the Fishery
Productivity” at the Professorial Lecture Series to be held on February 24, 2016 at the Forum, DLSAU.
 Ms. Ann Christine Braga will be presenting her research paper entitled “Beyond Sea Level Rise: Psychological impacts of climate change” at the Professorial

EXTENSION
 Dr. Nelson Layague is one of its accreditors chosen by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accrediation (PACUCOA) that

Club Philippinesto be held on February 26, 2016 at Benguet State University, La Trinidad Benguet.
 Mr. Marlo Diestro, BSBA-FinMgt. student is one of the Top 10 finalists in the COL and JA Stock Market Challenge Inter-School Competition 2015. Mr. Diestro will
compete in the upcoming Stock Market Challenge Grand Finals Panel Presentation (Phase 3) which will be held on March 4, 2016.

UNIT ACTIVITIES
• Best projects/performance tasks were showcased in the Academic Fair from January 26 to 30.
• Reading sessions for Grade 3 pupils had commenced c/o the Academic Chair. It is done every Wednesday at 2:20-3:20 PM.
• ABES and Wellness programs, the performance tasks of Grade 10, were successfully implemented during the Foundation Week.
• 4th Quarter Classroom Observation by the Academic Council is on-going.
• Recommendation for probationary teachers is being processed.
• Php7,300 from BED AKO FUND had been donated to the DLSAU Own-a-tree Program.
• CARE Classes are on-going particularly for English, Math, Filipino, Social Studies and Science.
• Professional Learning Communities meeting was held last February 15 at The Forum with the following agenda: low and high achieving students, multidisciplinary
performance tasks, sharing of best practices.
• 4th Midquarter Tests were administered last February 15 and 16.
f. Other Matters for Consideration
 Faculty Vacation – it’s been suggested to have the vacation from April 15th-May 15th for the Basic Education Department and April 13th-May 11th for the TED. May
15th – graduation must be considered a required activity for permanent/full-time personnel to attend.
 Signage – use the maximum size available and allowed by law. Signage along EDSA is too small and not noticeable.
