Designed to be stored in small places, the Model 42 Stair Chair functions well in
confined areas such as narrow hallways and multiple-landing stairways. Four lifting
handles with nonslip handgrips enable EMTs to move the patient safely and easily.
Soft vinyl-coated cover is simple and easy to clean, resists blood, stains and bodily
fluids. Locking safety latch maintains Model 42 in the chair position during use.
Safety latch is manually released when the chair is folded for storage. Two 7’ quick
release patient restraints securely hold the patient.

Ferno® Model 71 Basket Stretcher
The Ferno Model 71 Basket Stretcher is made with a high-density polyethylene shell supported by a permanently attached, heavy-duty, aluminum frame.
Molded-in runners and handholds make it easy to handle, and brass grommets
are strategically located for quick use with Model 418-1 Adjustable Lifting Bridle
(tag lines should always be used when lifting the basket stretcher). The shell is
chemical, UV, rust, and corrosion resistant and a replaceable closed-cell foam pad
is attached inside the stretcher for patient comfort. Four two-piece 5’ quick-release
patient restraints are simple to use and permit the rescuers to easily change the
position of the straps to fit each patient.
Ferno® Titan Basket Stretcher
The Titan Rescue Basket Stretcher is a complete rethinking of the classic Stokes
military style stretchers. The top rail is a full one-inch diameter making the stretcher easier to handle when carried for extended periods, and it has been reinforced
with double tubing at the head and foot ends for extra strength during vertical
raises and lowers.

Traverse® Rescue Stretcher (TRS)
Designed and constructed for both horizontal and vertical casualty evacuations.
The lightweight and compact roll-up design makes this stretcher ideal for high
angle and confined space rescue, as well as backcountry wilderness and helicopter
operations. The wrap-around concept gives the patient a feeling of security and

The Gazelle Series Stretchers are a basic rescue stretcher designed to be used
in raise/lower operations. Features all-carbon-steel with MIG welded, 19mm
tubular frame construction, and carefully designed frame geometry for the ultimate
strength. Replaceable Durathene netting will not corrode and provides safety and
comfort to the patient and rescuer.

Gazelle Basket Stretcher
Features Include:
• Constructed using an inner layer made from a tough high-density
polyethylene sheet, which give the stretcher its rigidity when curved around
the patient
• Outer fabric shell is made using two different materials. The base fabric
is a 1350 Denier Cordura nylon with a heavy PU coating, which has been
specially woven to be as tough as possible to resist abrasion and cuts. The
top layer is 1000 Denier Cordura
• Carry handles and vertical lift attachment points are construct from 2”
webbing and are designed as structural attachment points for a lifting bridle
• Plastic tubing on the carry handle makes for a much more comfortable carry
for rescuers
• Built-in color-coded full body adjustable harness restrains the patient
securely in the stretcher so there is no need to fold over the head and foot
end of the stretcher, which can cause discomfort to the patient
• Padded straps in the shoulder and groin areas make for a comfortable fit,
while the foot strap stops the patient from sliding down during vertical lifts.
• Six outer 2” web restraint straps further secure the patient into the
stretcher by wrapping the stretcher around the patient’s body using a
two-bar steel buckle system, which is easy and quick to work with, even
with gloves on
• Includes a Cordura storage bag with backpack shoulder straps
