Main project’s objectives
1. Evaluate and compare communication channels, as well as their
accessibility for EU Member States' law enforcement services in
terms of the principle of availability, especially in the context of
implementing the provisions of the Prüm Decision;
2. Share experience and practical knowledge in the field of
cooperation between Police and Customs Cooperation Centers
(PCCCs);
3. Evaluate current trends in the field of training regarding crossborder exchange of information between EU Member States
Scope – area of interest
1. Define scope of information collected in selected EU Member States;
2. Ways of organizing (administration) of databases and access to
them;
3. Rules for operation of databases, including implementation
of the Prüm Decision;
4. Exchange of experience on the functioning of Police and Customs
Cooperation Centers (PCCC);
5. Selection and description of training trends/ needs in the field of
information exchange and cooperation
