Welcome to our fifth annual Craftboston Holiday show. The Cyclorama is a magical
venue to view the work of 90 artists from across the country. We know you will find
some fabulous gifts for your family and friends - as well as something special for
yourself!
Craftboston is produced by The Society of Arts and Crafts (SAC). Established in
1897, SAC is the oldest non-profit craft organization in the United States. SAC’s
mission is to support conceptual and technical excellence in clay, glass, fiber, metal,
wood and mixed media. Our exhibition, education, and award programs promote
emerging through established artists nationally and internationally. SAC is committed
to educating and advancing public appreciation of contemporary craft while also
creating opportunities for artists to sustain their creative livelihood.
SAC is located at 175 Newbury Street and includes a street level retail store and
a second floor exhibition gallery with four curated shows each year. SAC’s first
Craftboston was held in the Spring of 2002 and has become New England’s premiere
exhibition and sale of contemporary craft. Our Spring show features 200 artists
as well as work by emerging artists from leading schools and universities, an artist
mentor program, a bookseller, an educational lecture series and informational booths
promoting non-profit craft organizations. The Spring show will be held at the Seaport
World Trade Center from April 19-21, 2013.
SAVE YOUR TICKET! Your admission ticket is valid for re-entry all weekend.
Present your Craftboston Holiday ticket at SAC’s Retail Gallery for 10% off your
purchases. SAC members will receive 15% off. This offer is valid through 12/28/12
and cannot be combined with any other discount.
Happy Shopping and Happy Holidays!
