Controlled Burn
Two members of the Wirrabara Fire Crew will be staying in Burra for 4 weeks
to undertake a controlled burn (weed and reed infestation) in the Baldina
Creek at Redbanks. The burn will commence on Monday 6th June and on all
appropriate days thereafter until complete except the upcoming public holiday.
Affected land owners will be notified by DEWNR.

Community Achievement Awards
The South Australian Community Achievement Awards have been launched for
2016 and the state-wide search has begun. The Awards are all about the passion
of people who are committed to making South Australia a better place in which
to live. If someone has made an impact or difference in your life or has

Caravan and Camping SA Tourism Award
·
Prime Super Community Group of the Year Award
Great prizes are up for grabs with each category winner receiving $2,000 from
Commonwealth Bank.
