INSTRUCTIONS
Folio:
1. The 7 x 12” DSP has been pre-scored for your convenience at 4”, 4 ½”, and 9 ½”. Fold
along these score lines, using the bone folder to create a nice even crease. Fold the DSP
into the folio shape.
2. The top center circle of the (2 ½”) upper flap and the lowest center circle of the (4”) lower
flap will be the places where you put the grommets to tie the ribbon around.
3. Punch two ¾” circles from the Melon Mambo scrap. Put the foam mat under the top flap,
place (do not adhere) one of the Melon Mambo circles over the top center DSP circle, and
use the paper-piercing tool to pierce through the center of the circles. Insert one brad into
the hole and bend the prongs to secure in place.
4. Put the foam mat under the lower flap. Place the other Melon Mambo on the lowest center circle of the lower flap, then pierce
through both. Set aside.
5. Use the foam mat and paper-piercing tool to pierce a hole ½” from the end of the 1/8” Regal Rose Taffeta ribbon. Be sure to push
the paper-piercing tool all the way through the ribbon to make the hole large enough.
6. Put the Melon Mambo circle onto the second brad, then put the brad through the hole in the taffeta ribbon, then insert the brad
into the hole in the lower flap of the folio. Bend the prongs of the brad to secure in place.
7. Stamp “Celebrate Today” on the 2 ¼ x 7” Whisper White card stock, using Melon Mambo ink. Use SNAIL to adhere this piece to
the inside upper flap of the folio, covering the brad.
8. Punch the lacy border for the front of the folio from the 1 ½ x 7” Whisper White card stock, using the Large Lace Ribbon Border
Punch:
•
Slide the edge of the card stock all the way into the punch until the entire edge touches the back of the punch.
•
Press the lever to punch the image.
•
Slide the card stock in either direction and align the punched design with the printed design on the base of the punch.
•
Press the lever to punch the image.
•
Repeat the above steps until the desired length is achieved.

Thread the ¼” Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon through the border as shown, folding the edges of the ribbon over in back of the
border and securing in place with a little bit of SNAIL. Run a line of SNAIL along the back of the grosgrain ribbon and adhere the
border to the front of the folio, along the edge of the top flap. Tip: A bit of the border should peek over the edge of the flap.
Lick and close the flaps on all four small open-end envelopes. Be sure not to lick
closed the medium envelopes by accident! Use the paper cutter to trim 1/8” off
one of the long sides from each of the envelopes. This will leave each envelope with
one long open side.
With each of the four envelopes, cut a 3” piece of Sticky Strip and place it along the
edge of the open side of the envelope. Stick all of the envelopes together in a stack:
Peel the red strip off of one envelope, and place another envelope on top (red strip side
up), being careful to make the edges square. Repeat with all the envelopes.
Once the envelopes are adhered together in a stack, remove the red strip from the top
of the stack and adhere to the back of the folio, so that the bottom of the envelope
stack meets the bottom of the folio. (You might want to try placing it before sticking it,
to make sure you know where you want to adhere the stack.)
Put 3” of Sticky Strip on the front envelope in the stack, remove the red strip, and fold
the front (bottom) of the folio up to adhere.
Envelopes:
1. Stamp all six of the Whisper White Medium Envelopes as shown.
2. Use Pretty in Pink ink for the large doily. Stamp it twice on the lower left-hand side of the
envelope, re-inking each time.
3. Use the Melon Mambo ink for the small doily and stamp it once in between the two large doilies.
Cards:
Fold all six of the Whisper White 5 ½ x 8 ½” pieces in half, using a bone folder to crease sharply.
Make two of each card:
Card 1
1. Adhere the 2 1/8 x 5 ½” DSP strip on the top half of the card, using SNAIL.
2. Roll SNAIL adhesive all along the back side of the Melon Mambo Scallop Dots ribbon, and adhere to
the middle of the card along the edge of the DSP. Trim edges with Paper Snips.
3. Stamp the sentiment in the lower right-hand corner, using Melon Mambo ink.
Card 2

4.
Adhere the 2 1/8 x 5 ½” DSP strip on the top half of the card, using SNAIL.
Use the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch to punch two ribbons from the Pretty in Pink 2 1/8 x 5
½” card stock:
•
Slide the edge of the card stock all the way into the punch until the entire edge touches the
back of the punch.
•
Press the lever to punch the image.
•
Slide the card stock in either direction and align the punched design with the printed design
on the base of the punch.
•
Press the lever to punch the image.
•
Repeat the above steps until the desired length is achieved.
Use a little bit of SNAIL adhesive to adhere the paper ribbons to the middle of the card along the edge of the DSP.
Stamp the sentiment in the lower right-hand corner, using Melon Mambo ink.
Card 3
1. Stamp the doilies on the card as shown. Use Pretty in Pink ink for the large doily. Stamp it twice,
re-inking each time.
2. Use the Melon Mambo ink for the small doily and stamp it once in between the two large doilies.
3. Cut a Melon Mambo doily from the package of Flirtatious DSP. Adhere the doily on the upper lefthand corner of the card, using SNAIL.
4. Roll SNAIL adhesive all along the back side of the Melon Mambo Scallop Dots ribbon, and adhere to
the middle of the card along the edge of the stamped doilies. Trim edges with Paper Snips.
5. Stamp the sentiment in the lower right-hand corner, using Melon Mambo ink.
Place the cards and envelopes in the pockets of the folio, then close and secure by wrapping the Regal Rose ribbon around the
grommet on the top flap of the folio.
