Leslie did her usual excellent job of explaining the Jewish Seder Meal. It’s amazing to imagine that the
disciples totally missed the significance of this most important event.
The May luncheon will be on TUESDAY the 7th. Pastor Rhys will bring the message. The meal will be
provided by the Church. Please be sure to let us know if you are coming. If you haven’t done so already,
contact the church office to sign up.

FROM THE MEDIA CENTER
New Hope Library Help Wanted
If you have some free time and would like to volunteer in a very calming atmosphere then we have a
place for you! No previous library experience necessary. There are many areas where we need your
help. For example, when we purchase new books we must process them and before they “hit the
shelves” they are covered (which protects them 6 times longer than normal). There are always
books needing covering! This is an easy and very helpful thing to do. If you would like to help out
one Sunday a month during worship service, we can teach you our VERY easy computer check-out
system. Or if you are looking for something to do during the week we could use your help when our
Preschool Classes come to the library. You do not even need to come and work on a set day and
time; after you are trained you can just “pop-in” to help. We’re just grateful for help whenever you can
come!

(provided by Wendell Banks)
We appreciate the faithful work of our Teachers in the Senior Adult classes. Dr. Kenn Gangel reminds
us,"Teachers who create a warm and casual environment for learning, who demonstrate patience, and Biblical
love to their students, set the stage for serious study by serious seniors."
We pray that you will continue the good work and may God bless you.
