Ciascuna sfumatura è costituita da tre diversi colori
miscelati casualmente in proporzioni tali da ottenere
una superficie che passa gradatamente dal colore più
chiaro a quello più scuro.

1. CONTROLLO MATERIALE. Controllare che il materiale sia sufficiente per completare il lavoro. In
caso contrario ordinare materiale della stessa partita (stesso tono e produzione).
2. RASATURA DELLA PARETE. Il sottofondo deve essere perfettamente rasato (liscio) e uniforme in
quanto il mosaico, avendo dimensioni ridotte, legge anche le più piccole asperità del sottofondo.
3. STESURA DEL COLLANTE BRIXGLUE. Preparare il collante in tinta BRIXGLUE e stenderne un
primo strato utilizzando la parte liscia della spatola. La quantità deve essere tale da consentire la posa
di circa un metro quadro di materiale. Pettinare con attenzione la colla con una spatola avente un
dente di 3 mm di larghezza e 5 mm di altezza
4. POSA DEL MATERIALE. Posare il materiale verificando che la distanza tra i fogli sia la stessa di
quella che esiste tra un tassello e l’altro.
5. BATTITURA DEL MATERIALE. Terminata la posa battere il materiale con la spatola in ferro (e non
con il frettazzo in gomma) e massaggiare con le dita i bordi là dove il materiale tende ad alzarsi anche
dopo la battitura. Questa importante operazione fa sì che non si legga il modulo del foglio.
6. REGISTRAZIONE DEL MATERIALE. Ultimata la posa e prima dell’asciugatura della colla, regolare
dove serve la distanza tra le tessere al fine di uniformare tutte le fughe. Questa operazione viene
fatta tagliando la rete con un taglierino e muovendo le tessere con un cazzuolino o altro strumento
sufficientemente sottile.
7. RIMOZIONE COLLANTE. Eventuali tracce di adesivo presenti sulla superficie del mosaico devono
essere rimosse prima del suo completo indurimento utilizzando una spugna inumidita.
8. ASCIUGATURA COLLA. A questo punto lasciare asciugare per 24/48 ore prima della operazione
di stuccatura.
9. RIMOZIONE COLLA IN ESUBERO. Prima dell’operazione di stuccatura rimuovere dove serve la
colla fuoriuscita dalle fughe.
10. PROTEZIONE DEL MATERIALE (obbligatorio per il colore WHITE). Su tutti i frammenti opachi
e mix (no glossy), prima della stuccatura, è consigliabile la stesura con pennellessa dell’impregnante
FILA MP90. Questo consente, chiudendo qualsiasi porosità, di poter rimuovere lo stucco con facilità.
11. STUCCATURA DEL MATERIALE. Almeno dopo 24 ore dall’applicazione del FILA MP90 utilizzare
gli stucchi epossidici Brixgrout Plus consigliati andando a stuccare il materiale. Rimuovere lo
stucco in eccesso prima che lo stesso si indurisca.
12. PULIZIA DEL MATERIALE. Con una spugna, prima che lo stucco si indurisca, lavare con
abbondante acqua il materiale. Ripetere l’operazione più volte fino alla rimozione totale dello stucco
dalla superficie delle tessere. Per rimuovere residui di stucco epossidico usare il detergente FILA
PS/87, versare il prodotto puro, lasciare agire 15/20 minuti, strofinare con disco o spugna abrasiva
e risciacquare. Nel caso si utilizzasse stucco a base cementizio si consiglia almeno dopo 24 ore
dalla stuccatura di utilizzare il detergente acido DETERDEK diluito 1:5 in acqua. Versare la soluzione,
lasciare agire 5/6 minuti, strofinare con disco color verde o spugna abrasiva e risciacquare. Per la serie
GLOSSY non utilizzare il detergente FILAPS/87 puro perché danneggia lo smalto.
13. MANUTENZIONE. Per la manutenzione ordinaria lavare con il detergente neutro FILA CLEANER
diluito 1:200 (1/2 tazzina da caffè in 5 litri di acqua) utilizzando uno straccio umido che andrà sciacquato
spesso nella soluzione. Per sporchi più intensi usare il detergente FILA PS/87 diluito. Risciacquando al
termine del lavaggio.
LAYING GUIDE
1. CHECK YOUR MATERIAL. Make sure you have enough material to finish the job. If not, order
material from the same batch (same tone and production run).
2. SHAVING THE WALL. The foundation must be completely shaved (smooth) and even. Mosaics are
small which means they will show up even the slightest roughness on the surface underneath.
3. APPLYING BRIXGLUE. Prepare the tinted BRIXGLUE and apply the first layer, using the smooth
part of the spatula. You must use enough to allow the laying of about one square metre of material.
Carefully comb the glue with a toothed spatula (teeth 3 mm wide and 5 mm high).
4. LAYING THE MOSAICS. Lay the mosaics, taking care to ensure that the distance between sheets
is the same as the distance between one mosaic tile and the next.
5. SMOOTHING THE MOSAICS. After laying, smooth the mosaics with the iron spatula (not the rubber
scraper) and using your fingers, press the edges of the material where it tends to rise up even after
smoothing. This important step ensures that you cannot see the join of the sheet.
6. FIXING THE MOSAICS. Once laying is complete, and before the adhesive dries, where necessary,
adjust the distance between tiles so that all the joins are the same. You should do this by cutting the
mesh with a cutter and moving the tiles with a small trowel or other sufficiently fine instrument.
7. REMOVING THE GLUE. Any traces of glue left on the surface of the mosaic must be removed
before it dries completely, using a damp sponge.
8. DRYING THE GLUE. Then leave to dry for 24-48 hours, before grouting.
9. REMOVING EXCESS GLUE. Before grouting, remove any excess glue from the joins.
10.PROTECTING THE MOSAICS (obligatory for WHITE material). With all opaque and mixed (not
glossy) “I Frammenti” mosaics, apply FILA MP90 filming liquid with a soft brush before grouting. This
seals any porosity, so that excess grout can be removed easily later.
11.GROUTING. Wait at least 24 hours after the application of FILA MP90, then use the recommended
epoxy BRIXGROUT PLUS to grout the mosaics. Remove any excess grout before it hardens.
12.CLEANING THE MOSAICS. Using a sponge, wash the mosaics thoroughly with water before the
grout hardens. Repeat this operation several times until all the grout has been removed from the
mosaic surface. Use FILA PS/87 detergent to remove any remaining residues of epoxy grout. Pour the
product on undiluted, leave it work for 15-20 minutes, and then remove with a disc or abrasive sponge
before rinsing again. If you are using a cement based grout, wait at least 24 hours after grouting before
using DETERDEK acid detergent diluted 1:5 in water. Pour the diluted solution on, leave it work for
5-6 minutes, then rub off with a green disc or an abrasive sponge before rinsing again. Do not use
undiluted FILA PS/87 detergent on GLOSSY series surfaces, since it can damage the glaze.
13.MAINTENANCE. For normal cleaning purposes wash the surface down with FILA CLEANER neutral
detergent diluted to a ratio of 1:200 (1/2 a coffee cup to 5 litres of water) using a damp cloth and
rinsing the cloth frequently in the solution. For tougher dirt use diluted FILA PS/87 detergent. Always
rinse down on after washing.

CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Stucco bicomponente composto da due componenti che,
miscelati al momento dell’utilizzo, danno vita ad un impasto
facilmente lavorabile e pulibile con sola acqua, immediatamente
dopo la posa.
Correttamente applicato permette di ottenere una finitura
totalmente liscia con effetto traslucido, inassorbente, facilmente
pulibile e quindi con elevate caratteristiche igieniche.
La presa avviene senza ritiri e quindi senza crepe o fessurazioni,
in un tempo che varia a seconda della temperatura ambientale.
La stuccatura realizzata resiste all’attacco degli agenti chimici
ed il colore rimane inalterato nel tempo.
Può essere usato anche per incollaggi ad alta resistenza
meccanica e chimica di ceramica e vetro.
Utilizzabile per fughe con ampiezza minima di 2 mm.
Crea un effetto cromatico traslucido di grande effetto
decorativo.
Il prodotto può essere miscelato con l’additivi metallizzati per
ottenere particolari effetti estetici brillanti e riflettenti.

Brixgrout Plus is a two component grout. When mixed at the time
of use, it forms an easily workable paste that can be cleaned off
using only water immediately after application.
Correctly applied, Brixgrout Plus gives a totally smooth and
translucent surface that does not absorb water and is easy to
clean and therefore extremely hygienic.
Brixgrout Plus sets without shrinking and cracking. Setting time
varies according to ambient temperature.
The finished, grouted surface is chemically resistant and colourconstant over time.
Brixgrout Plus can also be used as a high strength, chemically
resistant adhesive for ceramic and vitreous surfaces.
For use with a minimum gap size of 2 mm.
Creates a highly attractive translucent sheen.
Brixgrout Plus can be mixed with metallic additives to create
special shines and reflective effects.

AVVISI IMPORTANTI
• Non utilizzare per giunti di dilatazione elastici o soggetti a
movimenti
• Non utilizzare per la stuccatura di pavimenti e rivestimenti
ceramici sottoposti all’attacco dell’acido oleico (oleifici,
salumifici).
• Non applicare su piastrelle che presentino bordi bagnati,
sporchi di polvere, olii e grassi.
• Non utilizzare per la fugatura di cotto toscano per evitare
difficoltà nella pulizia.
• Per la stuccatura di gres porcellanato con Brixgrout Plus di
colore in contrasto (ad esempio nero su bianco) e materiali lapidei
o porcellanato levigato, eseguire alcune prove preliminari.
• Non utilizzare per fugatura di ceramica in vasche contenenti
acqua potabile.
• Non aggiungere a Brixgrout plus acqua o alcun prodotto e

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Do not use Brixgrout Plus for expansion joints or joints subject
to movement.
• Do not use Brixgrout Plus to grout ceramic floor and wall
coverings subject to attack by oleic acid (olive/cooking oil
factories, sausage and salami factories).
• Do not apply Brixgrout Plus to tiles with wet, dirty, oily or
greasy edges.
• Do not use Brixgrout Plus to grout ‘cotto toscano’ as it can
cause problems with cleaning.
• Always perform preliminary tests before using Brixgrout Plus
as a contrasting colour grout (e.g. black grout with white tiles)
with fully vitrified stoneware tiles, polished stone or vitrified
materials.
• Do not use Brixgrout Plus to grout ceramic tiles in tanks
destined to contain drinking water.
• Do not add water or any other additives to Brixgrout Plus.
Respect the specified mixing ratios.
• Only apply Brixgrout Plus at temperatures between +10°C
and +30°C.
• If you ever need to remove fully hardened Brixgrout Plus from
inter-tile gaps, heat first with an industrial hot air gun.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Adesivo in polvere a base di cementi, inserti di granulometria
selezionata ed additivi, caratterizzato da un’ottima stendibilità e
ritenzione d’acqua, indicato per la posa all’interno ed all’esterno
su supporti di tipo cementizio tradizionale, quali intonaci e
massetti cementizi. Classificazione secondo EN12004, classe di
appartenenza C1.
VOCE DI CAPITOLATO
I pavimenti e i rivestimenti in ceramica dovranno essere applicati con
un adesivo in polvere a base cemento monocoprente che permetta
di realizzare spessori fino a 5 mm. Per interni e per esteni.
CAMPI DI APPLICAZIONE
Posa di pavimenti e rivestimenti di piastrelle ceramiche in bicottura e
monocottura porosa.
AVVISI IMPORTANTI
Non usare nei sequenti casi:
• su supporti sottoposti a deformazioni o sollecitazioni termiche
e meccaniche
• su pavimenti riscaldati
• per la posa di marmo e pietre naturali
• su pareti in cartongesso
• su superfici di metallo, PVC, gomma o linoleum
• dove sia richiesta una buona resistenza agli agenti chimici: piscine,
laboratori, stalle, caseifici ecc.
• per la sovrapposizione di piastrelle ceramiche
A powder form adhesive, made from cement, selected grain size
inerts and additives, characterised by excellent spreadability and
water retention. Ideal for indoor and outdoor tile installation over
conventional cement type surfaces such as plaster and mortar.
Classification according to EN12004, class C1.
APPLICATION SUMMARY
Ceramic floor and wall tiles must be installed using a single coat
of powder form, cement based adhesive capable of spreading to
depths of up to 5 mm and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Installation of double fired and porous single fired ceramic floor
and wall tiles.
IMPORTANT NOTICES
Do not use:
• On surfaces subject to deformation or thermal or mechanical
stress
• On heated floors
• To install marble or natural stone
• On plasterboard walls
• On metal, PVC, rubber or linoleum surfaces
• Where a high level of resistance to chemical agents is
required, e.g. in swimming pools, laboratories, stables,
dairies, etc.
• To install tiles over previously tiled surfaces
